MANILA, Philippines (AP) — An undersea 6.9 magnitude earthquake has struck off the southern Philippines, prompting the potential to generate a tsunami.No casualties or damage have been reported immediately on Saturday.The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at a depth of 60 kilometers (37 miles) south of Davao city in the main southern region of Mindanao.According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC), hazardous tsunami waves were possible within 300 kilometers (186 miles) of the epicenter along the coasts of the Philippines and Indonesia. The alert sent panic through the area, forcing people to scramble out of malls and buildings within the area, the Associated Press reported.The alert has since been called off by the PTWC. 756

(KGTV) — A man police say was captured on video taunting a bison at Yellowstone National Park this week has been arrested.Glacier National Park rangers arrested 55-year-old Raymond Reinke, of Pendleton, Ore., Thursday just after 10:30 p.m.In the video, a man is seen Tuesday in the middle of traffic approaching the bison. He begins the taunt the animal, which becomes visibly agitated and charges the man multiple times.After the footage was shared out, Yellowstone Superintendent Dan Wenk called the man's behavior, "reckless, dangerous, and illegal," on Facebook, adding those who ignore rules for distancing themselves from wildlife risk their lives and threaten the park.Yellowstone requires visitors to keep at least 25 yards from animals like bison and elk, and 100 yards from bears and wolves.Tuesday's incident wasn't Reinke's first recent run-in with law enforcement either, according to police. He had reportedly been visiting multiple national parks over the last week.On July 28, he was arrested by law enforcement at Grand Teton National Park for drunk and disorderly conduct.He then traveled to Yellowstone, where his vehicle was stopped by rangers on July 31. He was cited as a passenger for failure to wear a seat belt, after rangers said he appeared drunk and argumentative, the park said.It's after this incident the park said they believed Reinke encountered the bison.Rangers investigating the video believed Reinke to be behind the incident and had his bond revoked and an arrest warrant issued.Rangers began searching for his vehicle, and he was located at Glacier National Park. Rangers there had received a call of two hotel guests creating a disturbance and identified one of the guests as Reinke.He was booked into Yellowstone Jail to await a scheduled court appearance Friday. 1842

Marriott International says a guest reservation database has been breached and may have exposed information of approximately 500 million guests.The company says it is investigating and addressing the incident that involves the Starwood guest reservation database. They received an alert on Sept. 8 from an internal security tool regarding an attempt to access the Starwood guest reservation database. Marriott quickly called on security experts to help figure out what happened.Security experts learned there had been unauthorized access to the Starwood network since 2014. On Nov. 19, Marriott was able to decrypt the information and determined that the contents were from the Starwood guest reservation database.For approximately 327 million guests affected by the breach, the information accessed includes some combination of name, mailing address, phone number, email address, passport number, Starwood Preferred Guest account information, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure information, reservation date, and communication preferences.Marriott says they have established a dedicated call center (USA: 877-273-9481) to answer questions guests may have about the breach. Members of the Oakland Raiders have denied a claim from the wife of an NFL player that members of the Raiders offensive line allowed quarterback Derek Carr to get hurt due to a dispute over national anthem protests.Miko Grimes, wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes and co-star of the reality show "Baller Wives" on VH1, claimed Carr's injury during a game earlier this season was directly related to an anthem dispute with his teammates."The reason Derek Carr got injured is because the Raiders' offensive line allowed him to get injured because he was against them protesting," Grimes said on Revolt TV, a digital network created by Sean "Diddy" Combs.Grimes said Carr was opposed to players sitting or kneeling during the national anthem, which led to a pregame dispute with members of the Raiders' offensive line, the only all-minority offensive line in the NFL. 899

McDonald's is sweetening up its breakfast menu by adding three new items.The fast-food chain announced Wednesday that beginning Oct. 28, consumers will be able to order blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, and apple fritters from its menu.McDonald's said the new items would be available all day.For the first time in eight years, the sweet treats are the first addition of bakery items to the chain's core menu, joining cookies and pies."McDonald's has been famous for our savory breakfast menu for almost fifty years," said Linda VanGosen, Vice President, Brand and Menu Strategy, McDonald's USA in the news release.
