KUNMING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Eighteen people were injured after a magnitude-5 earthquake jolted southwest China's Yunnan Province Monday morning, local authorities have said.
The conference will be jointly held by the National Intellectual Property Administration, National Copyright Administration, Ministry of Commerce, Beijing Municipal Government and World Intellectual Property Organization.
He said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, and that strengthening the all-round cooperation and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries are the only right choice for the two sides.
"Innovation and intellectual property should serve the progress and well-being of all mankind, and should not be turned into a tool for the United States to suppress other countries' development and maintain its self-interest," said Hua.
