BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Finance said here Wednesday that it will sell a batch of 30-year long-term book-entry treasury bonds this week at a yield of 4.23 percent.The bonds, with a total face value of 28 billion yuan (about 4.2 billion U.S. dollars), will be sold over five days starting Thursday, said the ministry in a statement on its website.The bonds are the 40th batch of the kind to be sold by the ministry this year, and will be the fifth batch of 30-year T-bonds the ministry has sold this year.The bonds will become tradable on Dec. 15 through the national inter-bank bond market and over the counter at designated commercial banks. Interest will be paid every half year.

Local media cited doctors as saying Sean Lien's brain was not injured and his injury would not endanger his life.A spokeswoman of the hospital where Sean Lien was treated said he was sober-minded when he was sent to the hospital. MOSCOW, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- A handover certificate on China providing Russia with emergency humanitarian aid has been inked in Moscow between the two sides, the Chinese embassy in Russia announced on Thursday.The document was signed by Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui and Vladimir Puchkov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Russian Emergencies Situations Ministry on Wednesday.On behalf of the Russian government, Puchkov thanked the Chinese government and people for providing aid and support to Russia on the abnormal summer wildfires.Li spoke highly of the close cooperation between China and Russia in recent years on emergency rescue and humanitarian aid, and expressed hope that China could further strengthen cooperation and exchange views with Russia in this regard in the future.The humanitarian aid delivered by the Chinese side on Aug. 20 was worth three million U.S. dollars, including fire extinguishers, compressors, fire-fighting suits and gas masks.Statistics showed that the summer wildfires have cost Russia 15 billion dollars.
