On this hallowed ground, only green burials are allowed to take place.The pandemic has led to an increase in the number of people looking at natural burial options. Natural burials are also giving families a way to grieve and mourn safely outside during the COVID-19 pandemic."I think COVID has heightened folks’ awareness of how important it is to make a plan. Families can still have a burial, families can still have a gathering, they can come together with their loved one," Phifer said.There is also a cost aspect that's driving the increased rise in natural burials. As many American families struggle financially, natural burial offers an end-of-life option that's around ,000. INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Subway pitchman and convicted child predator Jared Fogle is continuing his quest to be released from prison early – most recently by asking a federal judge allow him to withdraw his guilty plea.Fogle pleaded guilty in 2015 to federal charges of conspiracy to distribute/receive child pornography and of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor. He also agreed, as part of his plea, to pay 0,000 each to fourteen unnamed juvenile victims as restitution.Judge Tanya Walton-Pratt sentenced Fogle to serve more than 15 years in prison on the charges. Fogle has been serving that sentence at the federal penitentiary in Englewood, Colorado.Since his sentencing, however, Fogle has filed dozens of motions seeking to have his sentence either reduced or thrown out altogether.Last month, Fogle, who is now representing himself in the case, argued that Pratt “has bias” against him because she was the mother of two teenage daughters at the time of his sentencing. That claim was easily disproven, though: Pratt has only one daughter, and said daughter was 24 at the time Fogle pleaded guilty.Fogle’s most consistent claim – which he has repeated in multiple filings and is now pursuing in two separate cases (Fogle v. INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police are looking for a woman accused of shoplifting and throwing her own feces at an employee of an east side Menards.According to an incident report filed in the case, IMPD officers were dispatched to a Menards location around noon on Tuesday.Upon arrival, they spoke with the store’s loss prevention officer, who told them he’d spotted a woman take a video camera out of its box and place it into her open personal bag.When the loss prevention officer attempted to stop the woman from leaving the store, she “reached behind her and dug into her pants and pulled out a handful of feces and threw it at him, striking him on his chest.”The loss prevention officer said the woman then ran out of the door.Police said the stolen camera was eventually recovered, and investigators were able to recover surveillance video.
