HONG KONG, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Director of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Chief Executive's office Chan Kwok-ki was sworn in Thursday as the secretary general of the Committee for Safeguarding National Security Law in the HKSAR, said the HKSAR government Information Services Department.
To advance the six priorities where stability is key and the six where protections are needed, the Wednesday meeting urged giving higher priority to supporting market players.
"Now this (cooperation) is expanding with your very, very kind gesture towards the University of Athens and the laboratory... concerning the testing which evidently is very important if one takes into account that we are a country that is based economically on our tourism," said the minister.
Practices of reaching out to meet the needs of businesses during COVID-19 response will be extensively applied, and restrictions will be removed unless needed for containment purposes.
