Dangalabba, a nearly 14-foot Estuarine Crocodile, has now made its home at the Perth Zoo in Australia after being rescued after officials feared for the crocodile's safety. Dangalabba was rescued from a crocodile farm in Broome, Australia, which is clear 1,400 miles from Perth. Dangalabba then made the journey to the Perth Zoo in a climate-controlled truck. "Dangalabba’s move to Perth was no small feat," the Zoo said. "It was planned to precision and involved a climate-controlled truck to keep the crocodile as happy and comfortable as possible, whilst a roster of truck drivers drove continuously so we could complete the 2000km+ journey quickly and safely."On Thursday, Dangalabba jumped into his pool, which is kept at 80 degrees. DAYTON, Ohio — A Montgomery County Common Pleas judge just ruled that football helmet manufacturer, Riddell, will have to go to court against an Ohio dad who's suing the company over his son's death.According to court documents, Darren Hamblin filed a lawsuit against the company in 2018 claiming they are responsible for his son's untimely death.Hamblin is suing the company on six claims which include wrongful death, fraud, strict liability for design defect, strict liability for manufacturing defect, defects in warning or instructions and defect by failure to conform to representation.Judge Steven Dankof ruled in favor on five of the six claims filed by Hamblin. The claim Dankof nixed was fraud.Cody Hamblin died in 2016. The then 22-year-old suffered a seizure while fishing in a boat, causing him to fall overboard and drown. After Cody died an autopsy was performed and revealed that he had chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE.The lawsuit said Cody Hamblin played youth tackle football from 2001 through 2011, starting at age eight and ending around the age of 18. It alleged he wore Riddell helmets while playing football, believing the equipment would keep him safe from the long-term effects of repeat brain injuries, sub-concussive hits and cumulative brain trauma.A court date for the trial has yet to be announced. 1352

While chasing his goal, he’s trying to avoid CTE, a degenerative brain disease caused by repeated hits to the head. “When it comes to concussions, I’ve taken some shots,” the linebacker said. “Your body gets hot. Everything pretty much shuts down. Your brain is rattled.” Concussion-related injuries are getting more attention lately. The CDC estimates about 3.8 million sport-related concussions happen each year, with almost half going unreported. “When you have a concussion, there’s many levels to the problem,” said Tony Megna, DACM, MSOM.Megna played football at the University of Wisconsin, but he had his college career derailed by concussions. He is now using traditional Chinese medicine in an attempt to help manage concussion-related injuries of other athletes like Arnold. “We can use acupuncture and Chinese medicine to help facilitate the restoration of the brain, not just to mask some of these pains,” Megna said.
