¡¡¡¡The holiday season is wrapping up, those presents open and bellies are full. But beware, holiday Grinches are still out there ready to steal.Year after year, the number of post-holiday scams popping up are on the the rise, taking your new present away before they can even be used. Those scams target presents like gift cards or new pieces of technology, like a smart TV or new computer. The biggest post-holiday scams out there hit gift cards to specific stores like Starbucks or Best Buy and even generic Visa or MasterCard debit gift cards. They usually target when people go to check their balance online, according to the Better Business Bureau. They often lead you to a fake website, either from an internet search or a fake email that popped into your inbox. The fake website, which often looks like the real website, asks for the gift card number and the pin/security code. Once you click submit on the fake site, the scammers have all the information and can start using it and your gift money is gone. But this year's scams don't just affect gift cards. As technology gets smarter, like our computers and smart TVs, scammers are turning into hackers to get to your personal information. Before you even start using that new smart TV, computer or other piece of technology, make sure you update it. The prompts will usually appear on the screen or you can find them inside the "settings" or "about" windows on the device. Also, make sure you register the device to your email address. That won't just help with the warranty, it will also make sure you get email updates if there are security breaches. Those software updates are vital to keeping your personal information secure. 1733

The show will air in May to coincide with all 236 episodes being dropped on the new streaming platform.Although the reunion has been widely rumored and likely will be highly anticipated, some fans might be disappointed that a reboot is not on the table. Those wondering if Ross and Rachel are "on a break" may never know the answer.Instead, the reunion will focus on interviews and retrospectives. The cast will return to the iconic comedy¡¯s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, HBO said. ¡°Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together ¡ª we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,¡± said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer, HBO Max. ¡°I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. "It taps into an era when friends ¨C and audiences ¨C gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.¡±"Friends'" popularity saw a resurgence in recent years thanks to its popularity on Netflix. The show garnered legions of new, younger fans who may have been too young to enjoy the entire series during its original run (1994 to 2004). "Friends" is one of a number of highly-popular Netflix programs to leave the platform as other companies are trying to capitalize on the streaming wars. Netflix's most-watched show, "The Office," is expected to leave at the end of 2020. The "Friends" episode library is expected to be a big draw to HBO Max, which is set for a May launch. The streaming service will include HBO's library and sell go for .99 a month. 2059
¡¡¡¡The convenience stores of Westeros have done good business in recent weeks.Just two weeks after eagle-eyed viewers spotted a rogue takeaway coffee cup in an episode of "Game of Thrones," the show's highly anticipated finale left fans bemused once again. This time, a plastic water bottle made a cameo appearance. Eight years of fighting for the Iron Throne can leave you a bit parched, after all.The bottle debuted in a tense scene as characters discussed the fate of Westeros.Viewers spotted it tucked behind Samwell Tarly's foot, and the show was in hot water on Twitter just moments later. Some viewers said they spied a second water bottle later in the episode. The latest gaffe creates a new headache for HBO, which handled the coffee cup incident deftly, with a lighthearted statement."The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea," the company said. The final season of the worldwide phenomenon has received underwhelming reviews and a frosty reception from many longtime fans, who complain the show has been rushed. For some, this latest modern intrusion only made things worse.More than a million people have 1169
