SAN MARCOS, Calif. (KGTV) - Several people in a San Marcos gated community have reported being targets of package thieves, according to one victim who spoke with 10News. The Sheriff's Department is looking at surveillance video, which appears to provide several leads.Mikayla Manos says a package was sent to her home on Almond Drive Friday.  Manos is a mentor for foster children. The package contained the personal items of one of those children, which she was asked to deliver to him.  When Manos arrived home, she did not see the package.Manos checked with her next-door neighbor, who has a surveillance camera. Video from Friday afternoon shows a girl walking past Manos' home. She turns and points toward Manos' porch and can be heard saying "get it".The video shows what appears to be a boy picking something up from Manos' porch, although the package cannot be clearly seen from the camera angle. At least two voices can be heard off camera. One is heard saying "I can't wait to wear these to school tomorrow." Manos says clothes are among the items stolen.Manos says she knows of at least three other neighbors who were victims.  10News spotted an empty Nordstrom bag ripped open on one neighbor's porch, while another neighbor tells 10News someone stole items from his garage when he briefly left it open around the same time.Several package boxes were found dumped nearby, including Manos'. SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Police in Seaside Heights had their hands full Monday night, doing crowd control to break up hundreds of young people partying at the infamous "Jersey Shore" house.The large gathering at the famous MTV reality show property was hosted by popular YouTube stars the Nelk Boys, NJ.com reported.The Nelk Boys are a trio known for pulling extreme pranks and stunts for their videos.Clips from the YouTubers' Instagram account – which boasts more than 3 million followers – showed throngs of fans cheering and crowding Monday afternoon outside the Jersey Shore house reportedly rented by the trio.Police and security are seen trying to keep the crowd at bay, with most young people seen in the videos not wearing masks.Video posted to Twitter by user @PastryChefTracy shows hundreds of people streaming out of the property as police surrounded the area Monday night. 892

(KGTV) - Traffic at the San Ysidro Port of Entry was left at a standstill for more than an hour following a reported security incident Saturday.Multiple lanes through the port were closed following the find, 10News viewer video showed. Witnesses at the scene told 10News border security officials were reportedly looking into a suspicious object left on the Mexican side of the border crossing.One witness told 10News they had been waiting at least an hour for traffic to open up as of 1:10 p.m.10NEWS TRAFFIC CONDITIONS10News has reached out to Border Patrol officials for more information. SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Uber says its mask verification safety feature is now available to all riders in the U.S. and Canada.The company made the announcement Thursday and also revealed it has removed the access of more than 1,250 riders since its “No Mask, No Ride” policy was put in effect in May.Beginning Thursday, if a driver reports that a rider wasn’t wearing a mask in their vehicle, the rider will be required to take a selfie with their mask or face covering before they’re able to take another trip with Uber.With the addition of the new feature, Uber says one driver's feedback can help ensure the safety of using Uber for the next driver."We all have a shared responsibility to help keep our communities safe and healthy and we're working with riders, drivers, delivery people and restaurants to make sure we're doing our part," said Matthew Price, Uber Canada's General Manager.
