(KGTV) - As different industries and businesses are given the green light to begin the reopening phase after coronavirus restrictions, one industry says they’re being left in the dark. Brian Nguyen is the owner of two Hillcrest nail salons in San Diego and said they’re upset with the lack of information surrounding when nail salons will be able to reopen in California.“Very frustrated, seeing all these other businesses being able to open and nothing mentioned about us, not even a word,” he said.He said between the two salons they own in Hillcrest, they’ve had to pay around ,000 in rent during the three months of closure, while also losing at least an estimated six figures in revenue.In May, Governor Newsom had said Phase 3 of reopening would include hair salons, nail salons, barbershops, gyms, and movie theaters for counties that meet certain metrics. So far, all businesses on that list have been told either they can open or when they can open, except nail salons.When the closures started, Nguyen said they immediately began planning how to safely reopen. As a nail salon, they already took sanitizing steps and technicians wore masks and gloves, which will continue. HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — An infant boy died on Friday after being left in a hot car in Hernando County, Fla., officials say.Deputies and Fire Rescue responded to the scene Friday morning in the 12000 block of Elgin Boulevard in Spring Hill just after 11 a.m. after received a call about an infant who had just been removed from a hot car.Hernando County Sheriff's Office officials say that 9-month-old Keyton O’Callaghan was rushed to a nearby Oak Hill Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 12:06 p.m. Investigators say that Keyton had been in the care of his mother, Cami Lee Moyer, 38, since Thursday night. HCSO says that the infant's father, Eric O'Callahan, 32, came home and found Keyton in the vehicle parked on the driveway in front of the home. Deputies say O'Callahan took the infant inside where he began performing CPR on the child while he was on the phone with 911. He continued to perform CPR until fire rescue arrived and took over.At this time, officials do not know how long Keyton was left in the car. Detectives are still working to establish a chronological timeline of events.“If you think you might forget, put a shoe back there. Here's a heartwarming story on a cold winter day.On Thursday afternoon, the Norton Fire Division in Northeast Ohio received a call regarding a dog that had fallen through a layer of ice and into a pond. Within minutes of receiving the call, crews arrived on the scene and jumped into action, Norton Fire Chief Mike Schultz said. "We had no idea what we were getting into until we showed up," Shultz said.Norton firefighters came prepared. As soon as their truck's wheels stopped rolling, firefighter Dwayne Marty jumped in the water after the dog. On the way over, Marty had donned a Mustang Suit, a specially designed jumpsuit for cold water ice rescue. The suit allows a firefighter to crawl over ice with special spikes embedded on it. "Anytime you get into a cold water situation, it can become deadly pretty fast," Schultz said.Marty was able to reach the dog just in time.Assistant Chief Mike Copen and firefighters Josh Lepley, Marcus Council, Brandon Earnsberger and Elliot Dunaye helped pull Marty and the dog back to land with a rope."It's a feel-good story.
