LOS ANGELES (KGTV) – Two children inside an RV involved in an hours-long chase and standoff with a domestic violence suspect were safely recovered Tuesday night, authorities reported. The children in the vehicle are said to be 11-months-old and 3-years-old. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The driver of the RV was involved in another pursuit in Santa Clarita that was canceled for safety concerns Tuesday, KABC reported.The chase started on surface streets but the suspect later entered the 101 Freeway followed by the 170.The suspect drove at normal speeds between 60 and 70 miles per hour. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Adult film star Ron Jeremy pleaded not guilty Monday to 20 additional rape and other sexual assault charges involving 12 more women and a teenage girl in attacks dating back to 2004, bringing the number of his alleged victims to 17.In June, Jeremy, 67, entered a not guilty plea in response to allegations that he raped three women and sexually assaulted another in separate attacks going back to 2014.The District Attorney's Office amended the complaint Monday against the defendant -- whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt -- to include a total of eight forcible rapes and lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl, among other counts.Jeremy is being held in lieu of .6 million bail, despite an earlier defense request to lower the amount, and was ordered back to court Oct. 28, when a date is expected to be set for a preliminary hearing.If convicted on all counts, the porn star could face up to 250 years to life in prison.Prosecutors said the victims range in age from 15 to 54 and that the teen was assaulted at a party she attended in Santa Clarita. The most recent allegation was made by a 21-year-old woman who alleged that Jeremy sexually assaulted her on New Year's Day outside a business in Hollywood.A half-dozen of the other alleged assaults happened inside a West Hollywood bar the defendant frequented and another took place in the bar's parking lot, according to prosecutors.The defendant is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman at a home in West Hollywood in May 2014. He is also charged with raping a 33-year-old woman and sexually assaulting a 46-year-old woman on separate occasions at a West Hollywood bar in 2017 and raping a 30-year-old woman at the same bar last July, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.The amended charges include eight counts of forcible rape, seven counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of forcible oral copulation, three counts of sexual penetration by use of force and one count each of sodomy, assault with intent to commit rape, sexual penetration by anesthesia or controlled substance, sexual penetration by a foreign object, sexual penetration on an unconscious or sleeping victim and lewd conduct with a minor.The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the case stemmed from a two-year investigation. 2327

(KGTV) - A man with a handgun prompted a standoff with police near Long Beach City Hall Wednesday.A "hysterical female" called 911 to reported her husband was armed at a federal building, according to ABC affiliate KABC. Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies and Long Beach Police responded to the suspect in the 300 block of Ocean Blvd. just before 4 p.m., where the standoff began.LASD said the suspect had a "possible improvised explosive device" in his vehicle.SWAT officers and bomb squad officers were at the scene as the man has stood outside a van with his arms raised. He appeared to have a gun in his hand, according to officers.The standoff ended at about 6 p.m. after a police K-9 brought the man down.Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia tweeted that police had escorted employees out of City Hall and that "everyone is safe." 874

LONG BEACH (CNS) - A crane toppled over and struck a house in Long Beach Monday, injuring a homeowner who was hit by debris.Crews were working on overhead lines about 12:30 p.m. in the 300 block of 61st Street when the crane fell between two houses, striking the rear portion of one of the homes, according to Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Jack Crabtree.The injured homeowner, who had been working outside when the crane fell, was conscious and in stable condition when taken to a hospital, the captain said.The street was closed between Elm and DeForest avenues as crews worked to dismantle the crane. 613
