JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A boater who had been missing since Friday was rescued about 86 miles off the coast of Florida on Sunday.The U.S. Coast Guard says 62-year-old Stuart Bee was found alive on the bow of his 32-foot Sea Ray, which had capsized.Bee departed Cape Marina in Port Canaveral on Friday and didn’t return, according to the Coast Guard.Watchstanders in Jacksonville learned of the disappearance Saturday morning and were told Bee wouldn’t typically stay out on his boat overnight.An aircrew was dispatched the area and other boaters were advised to be on the lookout for Bee’s vessel.Luckily, the Coast Guard says Bee was spotted clinging to his boat at about 11 a.m. Sunday and was then transported to shore."Saving lives at sea is our highest calling. JUSTIN, Texas – Yaser Abdel Said, one of the FBI’s 10 most wanted fugitives, was taken into custody in Texas on Wednesday.Said, 63, has been wanted since 2008, when the FBI says the father shot and killed his teenage daughters, 18-year-old Amina and 17-year-old Sarah.Before the shooting in Irving, the Egyptian-born suspect allegedly took the teens for a ride in his taxicab under the guise of taking them to get something to eat.A police report at the time said a family member reported Said threatened “bodily harm” against Sarah for going on a date with a non-Muslim, The Associated Press reports.Based on an investigation by the Irving Police Department, a capital murder-multiple warrant was issued for Said’s arrest on Jan. 2, 2008. And on Aug. 21 of that year, a federal unlawful flight to avoid prosecution warrant was issued by a U.S. district court.Said has been on the FBI’s 10 most wanted fugitives list since December 4, 2014. (KGTV) — A family-owned Mexican restaurant in La Jolla that was a local favorite for 52 years has officially closed its doors.On Monday, crews began clearing out Su Casa Mexican restaurant on La Jolla Blvd. The restaurant, known for its margaritas and fresh guacamole prepared at the table, opened in 1967."I feel like I'm losing a lot of my own history. It's really sad," said longtime customer Eric Lind.Lind estimated that he and his family ate at Su Casa roughly 200 times since the 1970s."It was just the food, the hospitality, and the ambiance. Everything about it, the whole package, it was just special," he said.On Facebook, dozens of customers posted farewells and memories. "My now-husband of nearly 25 years asked me to marry him after dinner at Su Casa on June 17, 1994. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri lawmakers advanced a bill Wednesday, that would allow concealed carry in churches, daycares and bars, among other locations.House Bill 1936 extends the list of places where gun owners can carry a concealed weapon — whether they have a permit or not."The definition of a criminal is someone who doesn't follow the law. We should be giving an individual the ability to protect themselves in any situation," said state Rep. Jered Taylor, a Republican from Nixa.This is the second year Taylor has introduced this bill.Currently, in Missouri, there are 17 locations where concealed carry is not allowed. Taylor's bill would narrow that list.If passed, the bill would allow concealed carry at amusement parks, casinos, child care facilities, churches, hospitals, stadiums, polling locations and local government buildings, including public universities and colleges."You cannot carry into those locations unless you have express permission from the property owner. What I am trying to do is leave it up to the property owner and let them decide what they want to allow and not allow," said Taylor.To opt out, private businesses would have to post signs prohibiting guns. Government buildings and public universities would not have that option."When I think about gun violence in KC and the legislation that is happening in Jefferson City, there is a huge disconnect," said AdHoc president Damon Daniel.Based on his experiences helping victims of crime, Daniel said he does not believe guns are the solution. In fact, hours before a committee passed HB 1936, he joined the Jackson County prosecutor in announcing a new service to help innocent bystanders of crimes."That's just not the solution.
