Are you a dad with common, difficult, and embarrassing baby questions? Baby formula maker Enfamil is here to help as it will launch the ENfo for Dad Hotline starting June 16 and will remain active through June 29. According to a statement by Enfamil, the hotline will provide dads with on-demand access to Enfamil experts. They can help them navigate the most common, difficult, and embarrassing baby questions dads may have, Enfamil said. "As a father of four, I understand what it's like to be a new parent – overwhelmed, excited, and unsure of whether you're making the 'right' decisions," says Patrick Sly, Vice President & General Manager of Infant Formula and Child Nutrition at RB, Enfamil's parent company. "Enfamil decided to launch the hotline to help both new and seasoned dads get answers to a variety of questions to ensure that they can navigate their way through the many stages of fatherhood, stress-free, providing their babies with the best care."Enfamil said dads can reach the hotline by calling 1-800-BABY123 and following the prompt for ENfo for Dad. Enfamil said experts will be available on Sunday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET; Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET; and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. 1252
Call it a comeback!Venerable toy retailer Toys 'R' Us will be back as it opens its first new location in Paramus, New Jersey after closing all locations nationwide in 2018. The location will have a grand opening Saturday morning. A second location is slated to open on Dec. 7 in Houston. The stores are smaller than previous locations. The new, smaller stores will emphasize the latest, most popular toy products and brands, Toys 'R' Us said. Toys 'R' Us will face even steeper competition than it faced when it filed for bankruptcy. Stores such as Walmart and Target have expanded their toy selections, although Target has formed a digital partnership with Toys 'R' Us. “Toys“R”Us is built into the fabric of childhood and for more than 70 years has been the most trusted source for toys and play,” said Richard Barry, CEO at Tru Kids, the proud parent of the Toys“R”Us brand. “With the return of Toys“R”Us stores in the U.S., we are bringing a highly engaging, experience-driven retail destination that celebrates play and deepens the connection between the world’s best toy, play and entertainment brands and customers.”Toys 'R' Us officials call the two new locations "experimental."In October, the Toys 'R' Us website relaunched with games, action figures and a full selection of toys. The inventory comes from Target, which bolstered its toy selection following Toys 'R' Us ceasing operations in 2018.Ordering from Toys 'R' Us provides the same type of shopping experience as using Target's website. Those who have Target credit cards can make purchases through the Toys 'R' Us site. Also, customers can use Target's in-store pickup service.“Target’s leadership in toys, digital and fulfillment are an unbeatable platform for Toys“R”Us to reconnect with their fans while we introduce them to the ease and convenience of shopping at Target,” said Nikhil Nayar, senior vice president of merchandising, Target. “By applying our capabilities in a new way with Toys“R”Us, we can serve even more toy shoppers, drive new growth, and build on our toy leadership.”Justin Boggs is a writer for the E.W. Businesses are considering how they'll need to change up their restrooms amid the pandemic.“I do think that most people would agree in the past, even pre-COVID, public restrooms tended not to be the cleanest place in most public venues and this is a real concern given the way germs can be transmitted,” said Steven Soifer, a professor of social work at the University of Mississippi.Across the country, some businesses have been doing quick fixes like taping off sinks or urinals to encourage distancing. Others have been changing up how often the restroom gets cleaned.McDonald’s wants its franchisees to clean their restrooms every 30 minutes.Soifer, who’s also the president of the American Restroom Association, thinks having the cleanings documented would give us all better peace of mind.“A lot of these public bathrooms in the better places have these charts and they tell you the last time the bathroom was cleaned,” Soifer. “I think that should become standard practice. People know they're cleaning the bathroom every half hour, every hour, once a day.”Mcdonald’s is also asking its restaurant owners to put in foot pulls so people can open the restroom door without touching it, automatic paper towel dispensers and touchless sinks.Soifer is hoping these guidelines will set the standard for other businesses. The American Restroom Association advocates for single stall, enclosed private restrooms, like we see more of in Europe. But they acknowledge this would be a big expense for businesses.Cheaper, more immediate fixes they suggest are putting hand sanitizer in addition to soap by the sink or even in the stall. 1641
