Police arrested a limousine company owner's son Wednesday in connection with the weekend crash in Schoharie that killed 20 people, according to the company's lawyer.Nauman Hussain, whose father, Shahed, owns Prestige Limousine Chauffeur Service, was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 787, according to New York State Police. Nauman Hussain is an "operator" for Prestige, police said.Charges are pending for Nauman Hussain, the state police said.Officer Kerra Burns, a state police spokeswoman, declined to say whether the arrest was related to the crash, but Lee Kindlon, who is representing Prestige, told CNN it was connected to the Saturday accident.The arrest came as state officials and Kindlon offered conflicting accounts on whether the stretch Ford Excursion should have been on New York's roads when it crashed in Schoharie, killing 20 people.Gov. Scott Piwinski has terminal throat cancer and the community came together to grant his final wish. Quadruplets Nick, Danielle, Rachael and Sarah Piwinski were preparing to spend their last Thanksgiving with their dad.“My dad. He means everything to me,” Nick said.“It definitely has been a struggle. I’m grateful for my siblings,” Danielle chimed in.Together, the 21-year-old siblings worked to complete their dad’s final wish — to spend his remaining days in his own home.“For him to come home one last time and spend it with us — for hours, days or weeks — is going to be incredible,” Rachael said while wiping away tears. But two years fighting terminal throat cancer took a toll on Scott and his Palm Harbor, Florida home. From a hole in the roof to stained carpet, the home was in need of some TLC. “The entire house was not in any shape for him to come home to,” Danielle said.So the siblings put out a call to the community and Scott’s Coast Guard family, where he served as a chief for more than two decades.Almost immediately, dozens of volunteers fixed the roof, put in new floors and prepared Scott’s bedroom for his return.“They said if we were in this situation, we know Scott would do the same,” Sarah said with a smile.Next door neighbor Melissia Delgado was one of the volunteers to chip in.“When we first moved into our Palm Harbor home, Scott had just been diagnosed with cancer," Delgado said. "He had a trach in his throat and he was outside offering to help us move furniture into our house! Which was amazing.”Even strangers like Carissa Konopack donated an entire Thanksgiving meal.“It just touched me so deeply and I really felt like I wanted to help too,” Konopack explained.The Piwinski siblings hoped to bring their dad home by Thanksgiving, but an insurance mix-up pushed back their plans. PARIS (AP) — Paris city hall has been fined 90,000 euros (9,408) for having appointed too many women to top positions in 2018, in breach of a law aimed at ensuring gender balance. Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo denounced the fine as “unfair” and “absurd” on Tuesday during a meeting of the city council. In 2018, 11 women and 5 men — representing just over 30% — were appointed to senior positions in the Paris city hall. A 2013 law required a minimum of 40% of appointments for each gender. Since then, the law has been changed to provide for exceptions to nominations when the gender balance is respected overall. “Yes, we need to promote women with determination and vigor because everywhere, France is still lagging behind (on that issue),” Hidalgo said.In Paris city hall right now, 47% of people in senior position are women. 836
