An Ohio TV meteorologist was arrested Thursday and charged with possessing child porn.Mike Davis, 60, has been a meteorologist at WBNS 10TV for more than 30 years.Davis is accused of possessing what authorities describe as a significant number of child pornography images, but they did not give a specific number. Authorities allege he also sent such images to other people.“He has been charged with pandering sexual oriented material, second-degree felony,” said Sheriff Dallas Baldwin in a press conference. “Currently housed at the main jail. This is a punishable by up to eight years in prison and [a] ,000 fine."The investigation came after the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children task force got a tip. It led to search warrants for electronics at his home and office.Davis' arraignment is set for Friday morning. BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – Sleeping guests inside a Breckenridge, Colorado, home were awakened early Friday morning to the sound of broken glass. Thinking they were being burglarized, the guests called 911. But when officers arrived on scene, they soon discovered the trespasser was not the typical troublemaker they regularly encounter. Breckenridge police found that a moose had crashed through a window in the home’s basement. Colorado Parks and Wildlife were called and said the animal probably had had been walking around outside the house in deep snow when it fell into a window well. 598

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia judge has scheduled a court hearing next week for three men charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery. The clerk's office for Glynn County Magistrate Court confirmed Wednesday that Judge Wallace E. Harrell has set a preliminary hearing for June 4. Arbery was fatally shot Feb. 23 when a white father and son armed themselves and pursued the 25-year-old black man after they spotted him running in their neighborhood. More than two months passed before Gregory McMichael and his son, Travis McMichael, were charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
