Research by the RAND Corporation American Life Panel found that Americans over the age of 30 have been drinking more alcohol in 2020 than they did a year ago.The journal Jama Network Open published the results Tuesday.Researchers surveyed more than 1,500 people between the ages of 30 and 80 in 2019 and 2020. Rattled by a string of explosions, which has put the city on edge for the last two weeks, a possible new explosion was reported Tuesday evening near a Goodwill store, the Austin Police Department said on its Twitter account. But after an hour of investigating, the police department said the explosion stemmed from an an incendiary device. The department said the incident was likely not connected to a previous string of explosions. One male said to be in his 30s was transported to the hospital. Ron DeSantis tweeted video on Monday of police officers raiding her home at gunpoint.Jones, who had created the state’s original COVID-19 informational dashboard, had since created her own website with information of Florida’s coronavirus cases, hospital load and deaths.During the raid, Jones said that officers seized her computer equipment.
