It’s a series of videos that allow the kids to follow along with instructors and learn dance moves."You really do see the students recharge after a little brain break, you really do,” she said. Congratulations 747, the “fat and fabulous” winner of Bear Week 2020 at Katmai National Park.Number 747 was up against bear number 32, nicknamed “Chunk,” in the final head-to-head match-up of the just-for-fun tournament.Bear 747 was first identified and tagged by the park in 2004 and, according to Katmai officials, he has grown to be one of the largest bears in the preserve.“When asked what he intends to do now that he has won, the only response was a look before going back to fishing in the Jacuzzi near the Brooks Falls, one of his favorite fishing spots,” park officials said in a press release about the winner.The annual match-up features images of brown bears from around Katmai National Park showing how they have bulked up over the spring and fall ahead of winter hibernation. CLARENCE STRAIT, Alaska -- A deer is back on dry land, thanks to the U.S. Coast Guard in Alaska.A crew was patrolling the Clarence Strait, off Alaska’s southern coast, when they spotted a deer in the water.The animal was caught in a current and struggling in the 49 degree water.The Coast Guard crew slowed their boat and got close enough the deer could swim up to them. They pulled the animal onboard and brought it back to dry land to be released. 457

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — A Maryland man is facing more than two dozen criminal charges after stealing a dump truck while drunk and on drugs, fleeing from police, and killing a man during the chase.The incident reportedly began about 2 p.m. Monday when Baltimore City Police contacted Maryland State Police about a stolen dump truck headed northbound on I-83.Troopers eventually located the truck, owned by a roofing company, unoccupied in a Walmart parking lot in Cockeysville, Maryland. Police say they set up surveillance to see who had stolen the tuck. A man, later identified as 26-year-old Zackery Haeger, was later seen getting into the truck, at which time police attempted to stop the vehicle, but he refused. Haeger then proceeded to drive towards troopers who were outside of their vehicles, causing them to have to jump out of the way. Driving erratically at a high rate of speed, he continued to flee, leading troopers on a chase that spanned from York Road through Padonia and Cranbrook Road. He was driving down the median lane on York Road when he hit another car at Padonia Road, causing disabling damage to the car. During the pursuit, the stolen Ford F550 dump truck crossed a double yellow line again and collided with another car, an oncoming Nissan at Rossbrooke Circle. Haeger then bailed out of the car and ran away, where he was captured by troopers.Officials say Haeger was taken to Sinai Hospitals for minor injuries where he gave officers a fake name, but a fingerprint check identified the man as Haeger.
