He abandoned a job in progress and that was how his employment with Roman Stoneworks actually came to an end.Unfortunately this individual, who was employed for less than 2 months, is now seeking to exploit the publicity that this false claim has created. He has started a Gofundme page to attempt to capitalize on his newfound exposure. Meanwhile, Roman Stoneworks and its owner and personnel have been subjected to significant monetary damage, as well as threats, profanity and harassment by phone and email. Due to the backlash from these false claims, my client's webpage has had to be removed, and the individuals involved have been inundated with calls and emails.If Mr. Hidalgo chose to tell the truth to all of the people who have now heard his false claims, then the matter may be able to be resolved amicably. (AP) — Scientists say they have found an elusive chameleon species that was last spotted in Madagascar 100 years ago.Researchers from Madagascar and Germany said Friday they've discovered several living specimens of Voeltzkow’s chameleon during an expedition to the northwest of the African island nation.A team led by scientists from the Bavarian Natural History Collections said genetic analysis determined that the species is closely related to Labord’s chameleon.“These animals are basically the mayflies among vertebrates,” said Frank Glaw, curator for reptiles and amphibians at the ZSM, told the AP.Researchers believe that both reptiles only live during the rainy season. The vaccine changed countless lives, changing the nation. Salk's work pushed further though, helping to create the March of Dimes. An organization that continues to work with the Salk Insitute in La Jolla - so it's researchers can one day eradicate other diseases. 10News Anchor Steve Atkinson spoke with polio survivor Dennis Nutter about his experiences with the disease as a child in the 1940s. "I was five-years-old in 1948. I just remember being extremely tired. I couldn't get up and walk," Nutter said. "Finally, I was just bedridden. The town doctor just said, 'let's just take him to the hospital and with a spinal tap they said it was polio.'"Professor Martin Hetzer is the vice president and chief science officer of the Salk Institute. "The March of Dimes is called the March of Dimes because it was literally...many, very small contributions that allowed people like Jonas Salk to pursue their science," he said. "And in his case, it led to the eradication of and the elimination of polio."The discovery saved millions of lives. "There are so many things that they, children today, don't have to endure that my generation had to," Nutter said. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A Philippine Airlines flight returned to Los Angeles International Airport Thursday after experiencing engine trouble, giving passengers a scare as flames belched from one of the Boeing 777's engines. No one was injured on the plane, which had been bound for the Philippines. The jetliner returned to LAX about 11:50 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The trouble was with the right engine, according to the FAA. Some passengers on Flight 113 reported hearing what sounded like a car engine backfiring, according to ABC7, which obtained passenger video of flames shooting from the engine. 641
