Ford could resume production on its F-150 trucks as soon as next week.The company told employees that they should expect to return to work at its plants in Dearborn, Michigan and outside of Kansas City, Missouri on May 18, a Ford spokesperson said on Friday. Firefighters in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are currently battling a massive warehouse fire at a plant that manufactures plastics.According to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, the massive fire is burning at a Poly-America warehouse in Grand Prarie, Texas. The company makes several products out of polyethylene plastic, including construction film and trash bags.According to the Star-Telegram, the fire was first reported at about midnight local time. A collapsed power line may be responsible for starting the fire.The fire has also spread to a nearby railroad car, which was full of paint products.The Grand Prarie Fire Department has asked those nearby to avoid the area.There are no initial reports of injuries. 719

(AP) — Security video shows a Florida sheriff's deputy go toward the high school building while a gunman massacred 17 students and staff members, but he stayed outside with his handgun drawn.The Broward County Sheriff's Office released the video Thursday showing Deputy Scot Peterson's actions during the Feb. 14 shooting.It shows him and a staff member rushing toward the building in a cart. He pulls his weapon and takes up a position outside the building.During much of the shooting, the camera's view of Peterson is blocked by a light pole but parts of him occasionally appear.Sheriff Scott Israel blasted Peterson eight days after the shooting, saying Peterson should have "went in, addressed the killer, killed the killer."The 54-year-old deputy retired rather than accept a suspension. FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. -- The sheriff's department is investigating after vandals left anti-Semitic graffiti in several locations in Floyd County over the weekend. The Jewish Community Relations Council shared an image of the vandalism at the Azalea Hills retirement community Monday evening.“The JCRC condemns the anti-Semitic and homophobic vandalism perpetrated against the Azalea Hills retirement community in Floyd Knobs, Indiana,” the group said in a post on their page Tuesday.The Floyd County Sheriff told WHAS-TV that they believe a group of teens was responsible for the vandalism and they do not believe it was targeted at anyone in particular.That same night, deputies found damage to several other areas in town including anti-Semitic graffiti on a school bus, damaged mailboxes and an overturned sheriff’s department trailer.“It’s damage to personal property, that’s the issue,” Sheriff Frank Loop said. “It’s not about any kind of hate crimes or anything like that.”The vandalism at Azalea Hills was cleaned up by Tuesday afternoon. The incident comes just a month after anti-Semitic graffiti was found at a Carmel synagogue, prompting Indiana's Governor Eric Holcomb to push for a hate crime law in Indiana.
