DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- Lifeguards in Del Mar urged caution Tuesday evening after several young white sharks were spotted off the coast. According to the city, lifeguards spotted a juvenile shark Monday off 29th Street and again Tuesday off 15th Street. Specific times weren't mentioned by the city in a news release. The city says neither shark approached the shore or showed aggressive behavior. “Shark experts told lifeguards there is no cause for concern,” the city said. The message appeared simple enough."We are here to end human trafficking," explained Jacob Sledge, who organized the Save Our Children rally. "We are also here to make reforming laws against pedophiles."Speeches and action calls from Sledge and other marchers made clear their alleged intentions."We are here today to share survivor stories, to give them support from each other, and to let the abusers know we are not scared anymore," explained a protester ahead of a survivor sharing her heartbreaking story of abuse.Sledge made another thing clear: "We are not affiliated with QAnon."QAnon is a baseless, far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a cabal of demonic pedophiles is waging an underground war against President Donald Trump. DANE COUNTY, Wisc. — A Whitefish Bay boy who underwent heart surgery, and a piglet that jumped out of a moving truck. These two completely different events would serendipitously come together to inspire our community, which is why it is Positively Milwaukee.It has been a long journey for six-year-old Tristan Zick and “Maxwell the Pig.” They met for the first time at Heartland Farm Sanctuary, just outside Madison.To say Tristan is a fan of pigs would be an understatement.“Pigs are my favorite animal," Tristan squealed. "I love piggies!”Maxwell made it to the sanctuary after leaping out of a truck to his freedom. He is now all healed from his wounds.This is something Tristan can relate to. He had heart surgery nine months ago, and so did his stuffed pig.His mom Stacy adds, “What was wonderful was that he was able to take care of the little pig, and I think that alleviated his pain because he was looking after his little stuffed pig. It was so cute!”When Tristan’s birthday rolled around this year, they came across Maxwell’s story. In lieu of gifts, the family raised money to help the piggy recover. The family even hosted a drive-thru bake sale, where the family baked pig-shaped cookies.Stacy shares what blew her away most of all, “[The sanctuary worker] asked what Tristan’s birthday was, and I told him. (KGTV) - A trio of teenage girls is helping the Community Resource Center fill their "Holiday Baskets" this year.The girls, Lucie Babcock, Talia Buzi and Abbie Raysman, donated hundreds of dollars' worth of toys, food and household items to the CRC's yearly campaign."It's just a great feeling to know you're givine and helping people have an amazing holiday season," Lucie says.The three girls held a bake sale earlier this month to raise money. They sold muffins, cookies, brownies, coffee and orange juice in their Carmel Valley neighborhood."It was so much fun," says Abbie. "Lucie's brother was dancing in the middle of the street with a sign, stopping traffic."The bake sale raised around 0, which the girls used on a shopping spree for the donations.The CRC Holiday Baskets program helps 1,600 needy families in the North County. It gives them toys, clothes, food and more for the Christmas season. Organizers say they're impressed with the young girls' desire to give, and that it's small donations like these that help them serve so many people.Lucie started donating to Holiday Baskets when she was 9 years old. Over the years, her bake sale grew to the point where she needed help. Her friends Talia and Abbie were happy to lend a hand."I think it's a really great organization," says Talia of the CRC. "This is a great way to help people who are less fortunate."Lucie says it's all about making sure other kids get the same feeling of joy she does during the holidays."That's what I try to think about, that a kid who's not expecting anything can wake up and have something like this.
