Federal immigration agents detained more than 100 people suspected of using fraudulent identification documents to get jobs at a trailer manufacturer in North Texas, authorities said.Agents from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations went to Load Trail in Sumner, Texas to execute criminal search warrants Tuesday.Katrina W. Berger, special agent in charge of HSI's Dallas office, said the raid occurred after they received information that the company hired undocumented immigrants who used fraudulent identification documents.CNN has reached out to Load Trail for comment, but has not heard back. ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) -- One week after a training accident that ended in the death of racehorse Bobby Abu Dhabi, Victor Espinoza is opening up about his recovery.Espinoza, a Hall of Fame jockey, suffered a fractured vertebra when he was thrown from the horse after it went into apparent cardiac arrest in Del Mar. The four-year-old horse died.RELATED: Injured jockey Victor Espinoza to miss rest of Del Mar meet"I was just working my normal routine and then just...something just happens," Espinoza said. "So it was a bit of a different accident than what (I've had) over the years." The 46-year-old jockey remembers thinking that he might be paralyzed after the July 22 fall. He said his body was numb, and he could only move his right arm. "The first time I ever cry, (was) when I first started moving my right leg, when I got on the ambulance and then by the time I got to the hospital, I started moving my left leg." Scans showed that Espinoza fractured his C3 vertebrae in the accident and had damage to his cerebral artery. Doctors told him that he got lucky.  Espinoza will be in a neck brace for six weeks. He told 10News his goal is to make a full recovery - but right now there is no guarantee that will happen."I can't move my neck at all, and I wear (the brace) and it's hard for me to balance because I can't see down," he said, noting that he still has numbness in his left arm. Right now, it is too soon to know if he will be able to return to racing - a sport in which he earned a Triple Crown on American Pharoah in 2015.  He's also a three time Kentucky Derby winner.When asked if he would be scared to race again he said, " I can't predict the future, how I'm going to feel at that moment."  1807

Esteban Santiago has pleaded guilty to shooting and killing five people and injuring six others in the baggage area at a Fort Lauderdale Airport, and he says he doesn't know why he did it.The 28-year-old Anchorage, Alaska resident pleaded guilty to 11 charges in the January 6, 2017 attack at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in which he used a handgun to commit the act.Santiago says he "wasn't really thinking about it at the moment," according to an Associated Press report. The criminal has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, but was found competent for the legal proceedings, the AP said.Santiago was sentenced to life in prison plus 120 years. He waived all rights to appeal, the AP reports.“Today the man responsible for the horrific, devastating, and tragic attack on numerous innocent people at the Fort Lauderdale airport was held accountable for his crimes,” Miami U.S. Attorney Benjamin Greenberg said in a statement. A psychologist who met with the suspect throughout the past year says he is mentally better now and has started express shock and remorse for what he did. 1112

Experts say a scammer cloning a phone number can happen to anyone and a Nebraska woman says her number is being used to try and solicit others.Caller ID "spoofing" is used to disguise someone's identity and is usually to trick a person into giving away personal information for criminal activity, or money. Now, many in Omaha are seeing local numbers including the same prefix show up on a call.Evy Akpan says recently she was receiving multiple calls a day from people who said she had called them several times when she hadn't called them at all."If I'm trying to live my life, and I'm getting phone calls throughout the day, and my phone is constantly ringing for a scam purpose, it's frustrating," Akpan said. "And also just receiving these voicemails of upset people chewing me a new one, and I'm like, 'I'm not calling you!' "The Better Business Bureau of Nebraska, SW Iowa, South Dakota, and Great Plains Kansas said scammers usually only clone a person's number for 24-48 hours then move on to new ones. The Federal Communications Commission says it's best not to pick up a call from an unknown number because if you do, criminals will know your number is active."Really, it's important not to trust the caller ID. The fact that it says it's coming from an area code that we're not familiar with doesn't really mean anything these days," said Jim Hegarty, CEO of the BBB Nebraska.The FCC adds that if your number's been spoofed, there's not much you can do other than change your voicemail to let people know of the situation. 1557

(KGTV) — A brush fire along Interstate 15 in Escondido forced several lanes of traffic to close as crews worked to douse flames.The brush fire was reported along northbound I-15, just after State route 78, at about 1 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol.The fire forced at least one lane closed on NB I-15, as well as the westbound connector of SR-78 to NB I-15 as of 2:20 p.m., Caltrans San Diego said. The closure lasted about two two hours.Hot and dry conditions Saturday have elevated fire risk throughout San Diego County, according to the National Weather Service. 605
