IKEA is offering to buy back certain furniture that is no longer wanted or needed to resell in their bargain section. In exchange, customers get an IKEA gift card for up to 50 percent of the original price."By making sustainable living more simple and accessible, Ikea hopes that the initiative will help its customers take a stand against excessive consumption this Black Friday and in the years to come," the Swedish furniture giant said in a release.The buyback initiative will be available in 27 countries in late November, including the United Kingdom, Russia and Canada, but not the US at this time.The New York Times reports there are some IKEA stores around the world with various buyback programs, but this would be the first time the initiative would be scaled across this many countries.“Rather than buy things you don’t need this Black Friday, we want to help customers give their furniture a second life instead of making an impulse buy,” says Ingka Group Deputy Retail Operations Manager Stefan Vanoverbeke in a press release.Products like dressers, bookcases, shelf units, chairs, tables and cupboards must be fully assembled in order to be eligible for the buyback offer. Customers will have to fill out a form and drop it off at an IKEA store. An employee will assess it and offer a price to buy the item back at, depending on the condition of the product. Hundreds of parishioners gathered at a Pennsylvania church Wednesday to exchange or renew their wedding vows -- some clutching unloaded AR-15 rifles, according to CNN affiliate WFMZ-TV.The event was led by Pastor Hyung Jin Moon at the controversial Sanctuary Church in Newfoundland.Guns were zip-tied at the door and ammunition was not allowed in the church, WFMZ reported. So there's always a human component to any sort of crime that that person might be conducting using their computer, smartphone, or any other sort of device."There is a big difference between cyber crime, and cyber warfare, according to the supervisory special agent."Cyber crime entails some sort of victimization of someone else. In a move that reminded some people of road trips with their parents, a Delta flight turned around and went back to the gate because passengers were not complying with crew instructions.In a statement from Delta Airlines, Flight 1227 from Detroit to Atlanta on July 23 “returned to the gate following two customers who were non-compliant” with the airline's mask policy.The plane had pulled away from the gate and was still on the ground when it turned around. Delta says crew members asked the two passengers to wear a mask, and they did not.At the gate, the two passengers who did not wear a face covering were removed from the flight.
