(KGTV) — A crash victim is hoping to track down the roadside "angel" who went above and beyond.On Friday afternoon just east of the I-15 on Old Castle Road in Valley Center, Sarah Rozenko says she was in her Volvo sedan, driving back from the grocery store and squarely in her lane. "It was like being hit with a dump truck full force," said Rozenko.It wasn't a dump truck, but a car, that hit the side of her car. It sent her spinning into a rocky embankment. She climbed out, bruised and dazed."She came out of nowhere and pulled up," said Rozenko.'She' was a passerby who told Rozenko she was an EMT. The woman, believed in her 40s or 50s, can be seen her in a photo snapped by Rozenko of the crash scene."Immediately took over calming me down, checking me out. Took over phone conversation with 9-1-1, as I was so shook up. She covered me with a blanket," said Rozenko.Rozeno says in her shock, she kept telling the woman about the surprise dinner she had planned for her husband. The stranger listened, and calmed her down."Just reassuring. I believe I would have had a panic attack had she not been there," said Rozenko.About 15 minutes after the stranger arrived, so did the firefighters and paramedics. There was a hurried exchange. "She yelled, 'What's your address?' as I am being loaded into the ambulance. I shouted it to her," said Rozenko.Some nine hours later, after Rozenko returned home from the hospital, she learned the mystery woman had collected her belongings from the car - along with all the groceries - and dropped it all off at her home with her landlord. "I was blown away. It's not every day that somebody goes out of their way to do something for you. She's my road accident angel for sure," said Rozenko.Now she's on a mission to find her angel."I really want to thank you thank you, thank you, thank you. They did not provide details about her condition or the location.SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police asked for the public’s help Friday to find a missing at-risk teenager. The 15-year-old girl was last seen about 4 a.m. near the 15000 block of Via Montecristo in the Del Sur neighborhood. The location is near Del Sur Elementary School. TWIN LAKES, Colo. -- Riley Tinkham has done something very special with his dad's prized Porsche.He inherited the 1982 model when his father, Richard, died of complications from cancer in 2016. The car had been sitting in a garage for several years, so Tinkham fixed it up.Earlier this summer he took the car and parked it in front of his house in Twin Lakes, Colorado. Two dozen python hunters are outnumbered by the thousands of pythons slithering through the Everglades, but they are making a difference."Some people like the city and the movies, I like the Everglades," said Kyle Penniston. He's one of the 25 hunters licensed by the South Florida Water Management District to track down and kill invasive Burmese Pythons.Though pythons aren't venomous, they have a voracious appetite, and have been known to gobble up anything from deer to alligators."When I was younger, maybe 8, 9 years old, my dad started taking me out to the Everglades," said Penniston. I'd see so many foxes, rabbits, I'd see all kinds of wildlife. Now-a-days, it's very rare to see a possum."Kyle captured an 8-foot python in western Miami-Dade county May 5th, but the python problem is affecting South Florida from coast to coast.Almost a year ago, an Collier County man caught one swallowing one of his pet goats, he shot it while it was in the middle of its meal.Since 2005, there have been python sightings recorded from Lehigh Acres all the way to Greater Miami."It's their fault, they didn't ask to come here they didn't get a ticket, they didn't drive here, they are here because of people," Kyle said of the snakes.Kyle says the pet trade is to blame for the population boom, making matters worse, in 1992, Hurricane Andrew destroyed a python breeding facility, sending more snakes slithering into the wild."You're never going to get every single python, it's just not a possibility because it's a vast area."But Kyle says the South Florida Water Management District's python elimination program is making a dent in the population.The program, which started in March 2017 is closing in on 1,000 kills. That number is low when you consider how many eggs were taken."Also around 2500 eggs have been removed as well."Kyle says although there is a long way to go, he's seen some native wildlife come back in certain areas of the Everglades.He's happy to be part of the solution to the python problem. "It's better to be out here trying to do something, than sitting at home on your couch."Python hunting is forbidden within the boundaries of Everglades National Park, but Congressman Francis Rooney is working with the Trump Administration to make an exception. 2282
