SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- SeaWorld San Diego is closed Thursday as a storm moves through the county. The theme park made the announcement Wednesday night after the first round of rain battered the area. Officials with SeaWorld say they plan to reopen the park Friday, Dec. 7. The park closed last Thursday, November 29 also due to the rain. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — SeaWorld's newest roller coaster is set to open just in time for the summer.The park's Tidal Twister roller coast will welcome its first riders on May 24, after breaking ground just last October.
