BEIJING, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- China reiterated Wednesday that it is the United States that had proposed the postponement of the second round of their Diplomatic and Security Dialogue instead of the other way around.
"African countries have been positive about the Belt and Road Initiative," Li Dan said. "Clearer answers as to how and where they can participate are also expected from the summit."
Efforts will also be made to promote public awareness of the issue, according to the official.
Airline passenger volume between China and African countries will continue to increase by 20 percent every year, he said, adding that the company is planning to launch new routes to Shenzhen, and add more flights to Guangzhou and other cities in China.
The ambassador reiterated China's determination to continue its reform and opening up efforts, against tides of protectionism.
