Hoverboards are once again the target for recalls, as the Consumer Product Safety Commission issued recalls Tuesday on seven models for potential fire hazard. According to the CPSC, the seven recalled hoverboard models have lithium-ion battery packs that can overheat, posing a risk of smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.Nearly 13,000 units are covered by Tuesday's recall. But if you look hard enough - something else is trying to take over.Limebike is a tech company that deals in two wheels.It's been a busy week for Colin McMahon, a manager at Limebike."On Friday we started rolling them out through all the weekend and now we are up to 200 bikes through operations," McMahon said.Limebike's mobile app is launching in Imperial Beach, its eighth city."A lot of curiosity so almost every time we brought a bike out of the truck people were asking what is this bike how does it work," McMahon said.Riders download the app, enter their credit card number and scan the back of the bike they want to ride.Even 4th grader, Jacquin Hallaway, can figure it out."I think it's fun that you can like rent a bike," Hallaway said.Unfortunately, not everyone has been behaving with the bikes.Someone in Seattle stuck one on a power pole but don't count out San Diego's shenanigans."There was one that was thrown off the pier. There’s several laws and regulations around what a real estate professional can share and information they can give on a neighborhood. Hurricane warnings are up for some of the Louisiana gulf coast as Hurricane Delta is expected to cross the Gulf of Mexico and strike the state later this week.Hurricane Delta made landfall on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula Wednesday morning and the National Hurricane Center (NHC) expects the storm to continue moving northward and bring "life-threatening" storm surge to the Gulf Coast late this week.According to the NHC, Delta made landfall near Puerto Morelos, Mexico with 110 mph winds, making it a strong Category 2 storm. The Yucatan Peninsula is home to many Mexican resort towns, including Cancún and Playa del Carmen. Belize, a coastal country on the southern part of the peninsula, may also feel effects from Delta.Hurricane Delta weakened to Category 1 status after it emerged off the Yucatan Peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday afternoon. As of the 10 p.m. CT Wednesday advisory by the NHC, Delta had top winds of 90 mph.The storm is expected to regain major hurricane status on Thursday, but make landfall as a Category 2 hurricane on Friday somewhere along the Gulf Coast. A hurricane warning was issued late Wednesday for areas from the Texas/Louisiana border to Morgan City, Louisiana. While the center of Hurricane Delta is not expected to be as intense as when the storm had peak winds of 145 mph on Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center expects the storm to grow in size, spreading the impacts over a wide area of the coast.
