A year and a half after the company removed artificial colors and flavors from its Trix cereal, it's bringing them back."Classic Trix" -- the bright, rainbow version from your childhood -- will hit shelves in October, the company announced Thursday.The news was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.The all-natural Trix -- called "No, No, No" Trix -- will still be available to consumers who want to cut factory-made dyes from their diet. That version gets its more muted coloring from fruit and vegetable juices and spice extracts, like turmeric and annatto, which is derived from the achiote tree.General Mills announced in 2015 that it would remove artificial flavors and colors from all its cereals."We're simply listening to consumers and these ingredients are not what people are looking for in their cereal today," Jim Murphy, president of the company's cereal division, said in a statement at the time.The changes to Trix took effect in January, 2016.But fans of that earlier recipe for Trix believe they were misheard."Our Trix fans have been calling us, emailing us and reaching out to us on social media asking if we would consider bringing back the original formulation of Trix cereal with its vibrant colors. As a result, we are launching 'Classic Trix' to fill these consumer requests," General Mills spokesman Mike Siemienas said Thursday to explain the change.Siemienas said the company doesn't have any plans to change up the ingredients in its other cereals. "If they want to order barbecue delivered to their office or the little league field, then they should be able to get that. Sixteen Idaho residents have been indicted on charges stemming from two federal investigations –- one, involving the large-scale manufacturing and sale of counterfeit cell phones, and the other, a cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine ring, according to a Thursday morning announcement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.On Wednesday, federal agents and municipal police raided 12 homes, one warehouse, one business and a church in relation to the counterfeit phone investigation.At a press conference in Boise, U.S. Attorney Bart Davis said the fake phones involved the multi-million-dollar counterfeit scheme were manufactured in Hong Kong, then repackaged and distributed from the Boise area. SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) — A construction worker was killed in an accident at Monte Vista High School hours after the topping out of the school's new multi-use facility. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened just before 2 p.m.Deputies say the 30-year-old man fell from a beam attached to a 30-foot platform. Deputies and emergency responders performed first aid on the construction worker, but he later died after being taken to the hospital. A second worker was also injured and taken to the hospital, but their condition is unknown at this time, according to the school district. CA-OSHA is investigating the incident and crisis counselors will be made available at the school Thursday. The Grossmont Union High School District released the following statement after the incident: 835
