Bayer announced on Thursday a voluntary recall of Alka-Seltzer Plus products sold after February 9, 2018 at retailers nationwide.The affected products can be identified by checking the Bayer logo located on the lower left corner of the front of the carton. If the logo has an orange or green background, the product is included in the recall.The products were sold in the U.S. at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Kroger (including Dillons Food Stores, Fred Meyer, Fry's Food Stores, Ralphs, King Soopers and Smith's Food and Drug)."The ingredients listed on the front sticker of the carton may potentially be different from the ingredients listed on the back of the carton," Bayer said in a statement. "This may lead consumers to ingest a product to which they may have an allergy or anaphylactic reaction, an ingredient which may be contraindicated for their medical condition or they intend to otherwise avoid. There may be potential for serious health consequences. BASALT, Colo. — Firefighters battling the Lake Christine Fire got a special treat Friday when Neil Diamond stopped by to perform “Sweet Caroline” and other songs for them.Diamond and his wife came by an Incident Command Post to meet and thank the firefighters who have been fighting the blaze, which was estimated at 12,588 acres Sunday evening. Beyoncé sent a letter to Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Sunday demanding justice for Breonna Taylor.Taylor was shot and killed in her home on March 13 after police executed a no-knock warrant. According to NBC, Taylor's family said her death was a part of a botched raid. Since her death, Louisville and the federal government have introduced legislation that bans no-knock warrants. However, for Beyoncé, that's not enough. In her letter, she asked that the officers involved be held accountable for their actions. She mentioned that no arrests have been made, and the officers are still employed by the department. After explaining the situation, Beyoncé asked for three things in her letter. Beginning in late October, Marriott International Inc., says they will lay off over 600 employees at its headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.In an email to E.W. Scripps, a spokesman for the hotel chain said 673 employees would be laid off.The spokesman added that employees that were furloughed would be back at the end of September.In 2018, Marriott began construction on its new headquarters and hoped to relocate by early 2022, the company said in a press release.The company currently has over 3,500 employees working at its headquarters.According to the Baltimore Sun, the old building will be turned into a senior living center after Erickson Living bought it. 673
