Twitter users can now limit who can reply to their tweets.According to a blog post by Twitter's Director of Product Management Suzanne Xie, the new settings were rolled out on Tuesday."Since your Tweet = your space, we've been testing new settings to give people more control over the conversations they start," Xie said in the post. "Sometimes, people are more comfortable talking about what's happening when they can choose who can reply. We've seen people use these settings to have conversations that weren't really possible before. Starting today, everyone will be able to use these settings, so unwanted replies don't get in the way of meaningful conversations."Users can reply with the following three options: everyone, only people the user follows, or only people you, the user, mention. Before, anyone could respond.Xie explained that tweets with limited settings would be labeled, and the reply icon will be grayed out for people who can't reply. Those who can't answer will still be able to view, retweet, retweet with a comment, share, and like the tweets."These settings help some people feel safer and could lead to more meaningful conversations, while still allowing people to see different points of view," Xie said.According to the social media giant, they've received positive feedback. TUCSON, AZ - The United States Customs and Border Patrol says several agents were assaulted in two different incidents on Tuesday.Both incidents happened near the border, west of Tucson.In the first incident, agents were attempting to stop a human smuggling operation involving four male suspects. During the arrest attempt, one of the men became combative, according to Border Patrol.The 25-year-old Guatemalan national allegedly threw dirt at an agent’s face and swung a belt with a large buckle on it at an agent. After being taken into custody, the suspect also allegedly spit in an agent’s face.The three other suspects, including two illegal aliens and an Arizona man, were also arrested.In the second incident, Border Patrol says an agent was assaulted while attempting to arrest an illegal alien west of Three Points. The agent and a canine partner tracked the 36-year-old Guatemalan national into a desolate desert area. The man became combative and hit the agent several times, according to Border Patrol. The agent eventually took the man into custody. The suspect involved in the second assault was previously removed from the country in May for immigration violations. One agent was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and has been released.Border Patrol did not indicate which incident that agent was involved in. 1360

VANCOUVER – A Canadian choir performed a COVID-19 parody of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and it may be just what you need to get through the holidays.The parody posted online is called “I Will Social Distance From You” and it was performed by the Virtual Pop Choir, operated by The Chorus Studio in Vancouver.The choir made several lyrical edits throughout the song to better apply to the turbulent times we’re living in this holiday season.Along with asking people to keep their distance, the choir has a few other things on their wish list this Christmas, like a mask that doesn’t fog up glasses and fashionable PPE.They also jokingly refer to Santa Claus as a super-spreader and tell him to “get the f*** out of my face” multiple times.The choir also touches on the popular opinion that 2020 has been bad as a whole.“All of 2020 has been a steaming dump. We’re out of toilet paper, can’t even wipe our butts. And everyone is wondering, is a vaccine really coming? Murder hornets, Q’anon, wildfires, anti-maskers,” the choir sang.At the end of the song, the singers say all they really want is to see their choir and safely sing in harmony.“Even though we’re still apart, I hold you fiercely in my heart. UPDATE: San Diego Police reported Monday morning that Rafol was safe and with his family.ALLIED GARDENS (CNS) - San Diego police were today asking the public for help locating a man known to have a mental condition who was reported missing.Benjamin Rafol, 26, was last seen at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday when he left on foot from the Verge apartment complex at 6850 Mission Gorge Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.Rafol has mental issues including schizophrenia and psychosis, said SDPD Lt. Dan Sullivan.Rafol is not from the area and does not have a cell phone or a car.He is described as a Filipino male, 5 feet-8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark gray Volcom t-shirt, light gray pants, black Nike shoes and a black Hurley baseball hat. 793
