BOSTON (AP) — Four more parents pleaded guilty on Monday in the college admissions bribery scandal, and a Texas man accused of helping to orchestrate the scheme also agreed to reverse his plea and accept guilt.Parents Douglas Hodge, Michelle Janavs, Manuel Henriquez and Elizabeth Henriquez entered guilty pleas in Boston's federal court Monday after previously pleading not guilty. Each faces charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.Martin Fox, the president of a private tennis club in Houston, also agreed to plead guilty by Nov. 20 in a deal that prosecutors announced Monday. He is charged with racketeering.Authorities say Fox brokered bribes to help wealthy parents cheat on their children's college entrance exams at a Houston testing site. He's also accused of arranging bribes to get two students admitted to the University of San Diego as recruited athletes, and one student to the University of Texas. He will return the 5,000 he received through the scheme, according to his plea deal.Fifteen other parents previously pleaded guilty as part of plea agreements. Prosecutors agreed to request lighter sentences for those parents since they took responsibility earlier. But the four new parents had no such deals, and they face additional charges of money laundering that could bring weightier sentences.Out of 10 parents sentenced so far, nine have been dealt prison time, with terms ranging from 14 days to five months. Another 15 parents are fighting charges tied to the scheme. BASALT, Colo. — Firefighters battling the Lake Christine Fire got a special treat Friday when Neil Diamond stopped by to perform “Sweet Caroline” and other songs for them.Diamond and his wife came by an Incident Command Post to meet and thank the firefighters who have been fighting the blaze, which was estimated at 12,588 acres Sunday evening. BELTRAMI COUNTY, Minn. – A man who was hunting in northwest Minnesota was shot and killed by another hunter last week.The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Lukas R. Dudley was shot by 33-year-old Rain Stately last Wednesday and it appeared to be an accident.The men were reportedly not hunting together.Around Dusk, Stately told authorities that he saw movement of what he thought was a deer and then fired one round from his rifle.“When he discovered Dudley, he immediately called 911 and is cooperating with the investigation,” the sheriff’s office said.The sheriff’s office says Dudley was not wearing the typical blaze orange or other high-visibility clothing.Dudley was transported to a medical examiner’s office for an autopsy. Before 36-year-old James Eberling died in November 2016, he told his parents he had one final wish:He wanted his remains to be sent into space.Now Eberling's dream is about to be realized, as his and about 100 others' cremated remains were launched into space Monday in a memorial satellite by the company Elysium Space.The San Francisco-based company said families paid about ,500 to have a sample of their loved ones' ashes placed aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.Traveling into space will be the remains of military veterans and aerospace enthusiasts, alongside those whose families were "looking to celebrate a loved one within the poetry of the starry sky," Elysium Space said in an emailed statement.James' ashes and the others were packed into a 4-inch square satellite called a cubesat, Elysium Space Founder and CEO Thomas Civeit said. Families will be able to track the spacecraft in real-time through an app as it orbits the earth for about four years before it falls back to Earth, according to Civeit.The launch is part of a "rideshare mission" organized by Spaceflight. The company said it purchased the rocket to accommodate clients, which range from schools to commercial businesses to government entities and international organizations.
