Mr. Hidalgo actually walked off the job on Wednesday, October 23 of his own volition, and over his manager's objection. Roman Stoneworks and its officers desired to keep Mr. Hidalgo in its employment to perform his duties. He abandoned a job in progress and that was how his employment with Roman Stoneworks actually came to an end.Unfortunately this individual, who was employed for less than 2 months, is now seeking to exploit the publicity that this false claim has created. He has started a Gofundme page to attempt to capitalize on his newfound exposure. Meanwhile, Roman Stoneworks and its owner and personnel have been subjected to significant monetary damage, as well as threats, profanity and harassment by phone and email. Due to the backlash from these false claims, my client's webpage has had to be removed, and the individuals involved have been inundated with calls and emails.If Mr. Hidalgo chose to tell the truth to all of the people who have now heard his false claims, then the matter may be able to be resolved amicably. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - New video reveals clues into a shootout that shook up a neighborhood in Clairemont Friday morning. At Broadlawn Street and Batista Street, the quiet was shattered just past 10 a.m., leaving neighbors like Julia Mauriello dumbfounded. "I heard a loud series of sounds I was not familiar with. I came out to find there was a gun battle on my street," said Mauriello. That morning, San Diego Police evidence markers revealed the location of the spent rounds. There were few clues about what happened, until now. A neighbor's Ring video obtained by 10News shows that in the 50 seconds before the shooting, a speeding black truck turns onto the street past a dark green sedan, which then begins to move.In the next video, the truck is stopped on the street. Not far away, someone emerges from the passenger side of the car and starts firing. After about six shots exchanged, the person gets back in the car. The car backs up and peels out.Another surveillance camera shows the truck racing out of the area, before returning, possibly to survey the damage. "So scary. This happened in front of my home. All of my children were on my lawn just an hour before the shots. (AP) — Airbnb will prohibit one-night rentals over Halloween weekend as part of its ongoing effort to crack down on party houses. The action comes nearly a year after a deadly shooting at an Airbnb in Orinda, Calif. Five people were killed in the shooting, which happened during an unauthorized Halloween party. Airbnb says it will ban one-night rentals of entire homes in the U.S. and Canada on Oct. 30 or Oct. 31. Previously booked rentals will be canceled and Airbnb will offer refunds.
