U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy said Tuesday that the USPS will not implement operational changes to mail delivery until after the 2020 election."...there are some longstanding operational initiatives — efforts that predate my arrival at the Postal Service — that have been raised as areas of concern as the nation prepares to hold an election in the midst of a devastating pandemic," DeJoy said in a statement. UNIVERSITY CITY, Calif. (KGTV) - A car crashed into a veterinary clinic near La Jolla Friday night. No people or animals were injured when a car plowed into the building on Town Center Dr. at 9:30 p.m. San Diego Fire Department says the driver told them he accidentally drove into the the front of the Cote Animal Hospital. There was a staffer inside the vet hospital with animals when it happened. The 75-year-old male driver got out of the car himself and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. 513

Tropical Storm Epsilon has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane.As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, Epsilon is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph.This general motion is expected to continue tonight, followed by a slightly slower west-northwestward motion on Wednesday.A turn toward the north-northwest is expected on Thursday.On the forecast track, Epsilon is forecast to move closer to Bermuda on Thursday and make its closest approach to the island on Thursday night.Epsilon now has maximum sustained winds near 75 mph with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next day or two.A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Bermuda.In the most active hurricane season on record, in 2005, late-season storms continued late into the year.
