SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police announced Tuesday the arrest of a man suspected of sexually assaulting an elderly woman in a nursing home in Hillcrest. Detectives took Lusean Arline, 48, into custody Monday for the crime which occurred Oct. 27. Police did not release the name of the nursing home, but administrators with Balboa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center confirmed with 10News the attack happened in their facility.Police said the 88-year-old victim was inside the nursing home when Arline illegally entered the facility. He sexually assaulted the woman, who was in her bed, officers said. San Diego Police Sex Crimes Unit investigators collected evidence at the scene, including male DNA which was processed by the Crime Lab and loaded into the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS). San Diego placed 11th among 50 other cities around the U.S., but America's Finest City wasn't alone. Los Angeles was ranked 2nd on the list. The company says all areas of the U.S. are prone to subterranean termites, but Pacific U.S. and coastal regions of the Southeast also have the threat of drywood termites. Subterranean termites swarm in the spring and summer while drywood termites usually swam in the late summer and fall. Orkin says termites find their way into homes because urbanization leaves fewer dead trees laying around. Customs and Border Protection officials announced the reduction of the commercial lanes at Otay Mesa from 10 lanes to 8 Tuesday. “4 to 5 hours,” said one driver who added another man in his fleet took more than 6 hours to make it across Wednesday. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police and Crime Stoppers released photos Wednesday in the search for the burglars responsible for taking half a million dollars’ worth of items during break-in at the Fashion Valley Hermes de Paris store.Up to 10 people got out of three vehicles at the north end of the mall about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 18.
