Fields was also found guilty of eight counts of malicious wounding and one count of failing to stop at an accident involving a death.On Monday, jurors will begin the sentencing phase of Fields' trial. Ultimately, Judge Richard Moore will decide Fields' sentence, but will consider the jury's recommendation.Jurors are expected to hear victim impact statements, possibly from Heyer's family or surviving victims from the August 2017 attack.Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal, was devoted to helping people and had a passion for justice, her family said.Heyer's friend Marissa Blair attended the counterprotest with her and said Heyer fought against bigotry."If you knew Heather, you would know that she loves everyone and all she wants is equality for everyone, no matter who you love, no matter what color you are," Blair said.It's not clear when the judge will formally sentence Fields for the murder of Heyer.But in addition to the state charges, Fields also faces 30 federal hate crimes charges. The pandemic is having an impact on the mental health of many Americans. Young people are particularly feeling this with changes in learning and missed milestones.In a new survey of 14 to 24-year-olds, Mental Health America found 24% of those surveyed think training adults would help with their mental health challenges.About 47% said they want to learn more about how to help their own mental health, which is what one new program developed during the pandemic is trying to do.“What we're hearing is that young people are depressed, that they have very little hope for the future, and they want skills to be able to help themselves and their peers,” said Martin Rafferty, CEO and founder of Oregon-based nonprofit Youth Era.The program Uplift by Youth Era is a five-day event and training that is free for young people.“It’s giving them the skillsets to take a look around in their community and say I can be a part of change. The Harford County, Maryland Sheriff's Department is hoping you can help find the people who tried to steal an ATM from a Shell Gas station.The attempted theft happened at 3:34 a.m. on March 16. Two unknown individuals broke into a Shell station in Belcamp, Maryland.Surveillance video shows one suspect wrapping a chain around the ATM.  Another suspect is in a vehicle and tries to pull it out of the store using the vehicle. They were unsuccessful.  Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Amanda McCormack at 443-567-7091 or you can submit an anonymous tip with Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.  668
