(KGTV) -- Special counsel Robert Mueller's team issued more than 2,800 subpoenas and executed nearly 500 search warrants in its probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election and any potential involvement by President Donald Trump's campaign.That's according to Attorney General William Barr's letter to Congress on Sunday summarizing the findings. WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Target will bring a new type of store to Indiana in 2019.The retailer announced Thursday it will open its first small-format store at 304 W. State Street near the Purdue campus in West Lafayette.The store will offer "a quick-trip shopping experience" with beauty and personal care items, food and beverages, and dorm and apartment essentials.The small-format Target will also offer Order Pickup which will allow customers to buy online and pickup in the store.The nearly 12,000-square-foot West Lafayette store will employ up to 45 people.Development will begin this spring pending city council approval.Target says it has plans to open 130 of these small-format stores by the end of 2019.The stores will be in areas where a traditional Target may not fit, like dense suburban neighborhoods, urban areas and on college campuses.   877

WATCH LIVE:LAKE HUGHES (CNS) - A fast-moving brush fire quickly scorched about 10,000 acres in the Lake Hughes area Wednesday, burning what appeared to be homes and prompting a multi-agency effort and mandatory evacuations for at least 100 homes.The Lake Fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. near North Lake Hughes Road and Pine Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest, according to Marvin Lim of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which was battling the blaze with Angeles National Forest crews, as well as assistance from the Los Angeles, Culver City, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica fire departments.The fire west of Palmdale had a "rapid rate of spread," amid temperatures in the mid-90s, low humidity and gusty winds, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The forest service and county fire departments quickly called in second-alarm responses.By 4:30 p.m., the flames had burned 400 acres, and officials said the fire had the potential to burn 1,000 acres, according the Los Angeles County Fire Department. That quickly changed two hours later, when the flames exploded across an estimated 10,000 acres, with no containment.The fire was entirely on federal land as of 6:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.The sheriff's department issued mandatory evacuation orders affecting at least 100 homes, and an evacuation center was set up for displaced residents at Highland High School in Palmdale.By 7:15 p.m., the flames had jumped Pine Canyon Road, two miles west of Lake Hughes Road, and shortly after, flames were seen on aerial footage burning what appeared to be homes in the area.ABC7 reported at 7:20 p.m. that homes had started to burn in the fire. 1698

She says nationwide we are in the third peak of the virus but still in the first wave. It's the first wave, because cases never went down enough to reach the baseline.“I think everybody, including myself, we are all tired of COVID-19,” said Madad. “We're all tired of constantly socially distancing, wearing a mask, but this is our new normal. This is our reality, and this is what we have to do to not only protect ourselves, but our family, our loved ones and our community.”She says it is possible to see family or friends safely for the holidays, but you have to plan ahead. First, she recommends quarantining for 14 days before you see them.“Testing does not give you a free pass in terms of, OK I’ve tested negative, that means I don't have to quarantine for 14 days. That means I can safely merge my social bubble. That is absolutely not the case,” said Madad.She also says you need to consider if anyone you are visiting is high risk and do your homework about the area you are traveling to. How many cases have there been in a week to two-week period? Also, look at hospital capacity.And you should consider additional precautions once you arrive.“Even if you've merged your social bubble and you've done that 14-day quarantine period, it's just always best to try to limit the risk in terms of contracting and spreading COVID-19, just in case and so things to do on top of that is try to have these activities outdoor as much as possible,” said Madad.The national Home Safe for the Holidays initiative recently launched by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group is calling for more testing.It says governors need to ensure test results are coming back in 48 hours or less to prevent small incidents from becoming outbreaks.Madad says looking at how much testing is being done in the area you're considering traveling to is important in making your decision. 2210
