Six others were also injured in the crash.The crash occurred during regularly scheduled battalion training, officials said. (KGTV) -- A 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man were arrested in connection with the shooting death of a young man in Carlsbad, police announced Friday.Just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, police and fire crews were called to the 2300 block of Caringa Way in response to a report of an injured person at an apartment complex.The injured person, an 18-year-old man, was found in the complex’s courtyard with a gunshot wound, police said.Kelly, an apartment resident, told ABC 10News, “I was fixing dinner. I looked out the kitchen window and he was on the ground. I started performing CPR, but it was too late.”The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
