DUSHANBE, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- China supports Russia taking over the presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) next year, Chinese President Xi Jinping said here Thursday.

Wednesday's meeting also discussed a range of other topics, including taxation policy reform for economic restructuring and improving financial services for regional real economy.
The Chinese vice premier hoped for tangible results in seven priority areas -- reduction of carbon dioxide emissions from cars, smart power grids, carbon capture and storage, emissions data collection and management, energy efficiency in construction and industrial production, industrial furnaces and forestry.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory note to the ceremony, hoping countries can jointly build a cyberspace of peace, security, openness and cooperation and an international Internet governance system of multilateralism, democracy and transparency.
