(KGTV) — Disneyland's "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" expansion will host the park's most complex attraction ever — and possibly at any theme park.During Star Wars Celebration this weekend in Chicago, Disney's Imagineering team dished on "Galaxy's Edge" attractions and the creation of the land. There are even life-size recreations of Poe Dameron's X-Wing and A-Wing fighters and TIE fighters.Imagineers also revealed custom bottles of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite and Dasani coming to the "Star Wars" land, fashioned into a droid-like shape and covered in Aurebesh, a fictional language used in the film franchise. (KGTV) - A high demand for power coupled with high temperatures led the California Independent System Operator Corporation (ISO) to issue a statewide Flex Alert Tuesday. A Flex Alert is issued when the electricity grid is “under stress” because of persistent hot temperatures, or generation or transmission outages, according to the ISO.Although San Diego remained relatively cool, with a high temperature in the 70s, other cities in California were put under heat advisories. Sacramento temperatures topped 100 degrees, while San Francisco reached the 90s. San Diego Gas and Electric told 10News it reached out to 160 medium-to-large customers, mainly businesses, and asked them to conserve power between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.The ISO reported energy use would reach a peak of 42,800 megawatts Tuesday evening. (KGTV) – Federal investigators are continuing to look into the backgrounds and motives of the El Paso and Dayton shooting suspects to determine if the shootings were instances of hate crime that may have been inspired by the Poway synagogue shooting.<br /><br />The El Paso shooter was taken into custody after killing at least 20 at a Walmart store on Aug. 3. Investigators said the 21-year-old suspect pulled the trigger just 20 minutes after posting a racist manifesto.<br /> <br />Hours later, police in Dayton shot and killed a man who opened fire at a downtown entertainment district. Multiple people, including the gunman’s sister, died at the hands of the gunman.<br /> <br />Sociologist Dr. Pete Simi studies political extremism and violence at Chapman University. Pretty young."<br /><br />Simi also said the young, tech-savvy generation connects with like-minded people on anonymous online forums like 8chan.<br /> <br />In his manifesto published on 8Chan, the El Paso shooter posted: "In general, I support the Christchurch shooter and his manifesto. This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas."<br /><br />Earlier this year, the suspect in the Poway synagogue shooting shared a similar message on 8chan in which he also praised the work of the New Zealand mosque shooter.<br /><br />"In some cases, they talk about is how you could've been more active, or you could've killed more people if they had done X-Y-Z," Simi said. "Or they're discussing the relative merits of this type of violence and pros and cons. It's really a cesspool environment."<br /><br />At this point, the Dayton suspect's motive has not been confirmed. But he too is a young, lone-acting shooter who wore body armor. FBI investigators are now digging into his digital background to find answers.<br /><br />"What may connect them though is there may be some kind of copycat aspect to it," Simi said.<br /><br />In light of the mass shootings, Frederick Brennan, the founder of 8chan, demanded the site be shut down.<br /><br />He said he created the website in 2013 as a free speech forum, but relinquished ownership in 2015. 2826

(CNN) -- The US believes late al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's son Hamza bin Laden is dead, a US official told CNN on Wednesday.The official said the US had a role in his death but did not provide details. The official added that the US government recently received evidence that it believes corroborates his death.The New York Times reported that Hamza bin Laden had been killed in an operation within the last two years.Earlier this year the US State Department called bin Laden, who is believed to be in his early 30s, an "emerging" leader in the terror group al Qaeda, offering a million-dollar reward for information leading to his capture.The New York Times, citing two US officials, said "the United States government had a role in the operation that killed the younger Mr. bin Laden, but it was not clear precisely what that role was."CNN terrorism analyst Paul Cruickshank said one thing is puzzling researchers who are closely tracking al Qaeda: "If Hamza bin Laden has indeed been dead for months, you would expect al Qaeda to have released some form of eulogy before today.
