SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced Tuesday that gyms and places of worship would be able to use San Diego's parks to conduct operations outside beginning Monday morning.City Councilman Chris Cate proposed the idea in mid-July, and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved a similar ordinance for county parks on Aug. 5.Faulconer said lack of guidance from the state -- even as the city and county expects to learn more Tuesday about possibly being removed from a state watchlist monitoring counties with high prevalence of COVID-19 -- prompted the action."There is no direction currently from the state of California about what a county can and cannot do once it sheds the watchlist designation," he said. Armitage, 34, admitted he had also been drinking heavily that night.The court handed Armitage a suspended prison sentence and ordered him to compensate the victim with 5,000 euros, roughly ,500 in U.S. dollars.The Legion signed Armitage in July. The agency has issued a flash flood warning that will be in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday evening in coastal areas and the inland valleys Rainfall totals through Friday could reach 3 inches in the San Diego County mountains, 2 to 2.5 inches in the inland valleys, 1.5 to 2 inches in coastal areas and less than two-thirds of an inch in the deserts, NWS meteorologist Miguel Miller said.
