The closing meeting of the bimonthly session was presided over by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee. He also presided over a chairpersons' meeting of the NPC Standing Committee before the draft legislation, laws and decisions were put to vote.
"Each 16+1 summit has its own features and themes. Transportation and inter-connectivity, a focus of the Riga Summit, conform to the needs of regional development and 16+1 cooperation. It also showcases Latvia's advantage in geographic position," said Liu Zuokui, a research fellow on CEE countries with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Li said China is willing to join hands with Kyrgyzstan to push forward bilateral relations.
The ceremony was held with the presence of Chinese Ambassador to Hungary Duan Jielong and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.
