A woman goes berserk, bashing the windshield of a white car in the middle of traffic in the middle of the day. "The girl was pounding, trying to get the other girl out of the car," said Priscella Bautista, an eyewitness.Bautista, her fiance and their two-year-old son were driving in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon when they saw a case of road rage gone wild. “We had our kid in the car. It was scary," said Bautista said, who did not want to show her face on television. Bautista watched in horror but kept rolling as the woman wielded her bat like she was swinging for the fences. The woman inside the white car was petrified. "I wouldn't expect to see anything like that at all," Bautista said.The driver of the attacker's car got angry with Bautista. "When he seen me recording, he yelled at me and said ‘can I help you?’ and I said ‘no we're just recording.’ I said ‘we don't want no problems,’" Bautista said.Once she was done with her major league automotive attack, the woman with the bat casually walked back to her car. "I was thinking they're probably going to come after me too but they didn't. They drove away pretty fast," Bautista said, hoping someone sees the video and recognizes the attacker."I really hope they get caught,” Bautista said. "If that was me in that situation. ADRIAN, Mich. -- Police are investigating after an 85-year-old man was stabbed to death at a Meijer store in Michigan Wednesday afternoon. The suspect was arrested after a person with a concealed pistol license (CPL) intervened and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.The deadly incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Much of the details surrounding the incident are still being investigated.However, police say the victim was stabbed multiple times in the head and neck, and was pronounced dead at the scene. ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) - Six months after the West Fire ripped through Alpine, residents still have an immense amount of work to do to rebuild.Colin Campbell's parents owned the Campbell Creek Ranch for 13 years before it burned in July. Campbell spoke with 10News in August at a benefit that raised at least ,000 for the victims of the fire.Sunday, on the six month anniversary of the fire, Campbell walked through the ranch, lending a window into his memories.Surrounding him, the ranch lay much the same as the day after the fire. Ashes and bricks covering the foundation of his parent's home, the pool drained, the white fence lining the driveway, melted. As he looked around him, he saw the ghost of what had been.He looked at the pool, and spoke of an old pact he made with his two sons, "at any time, on the coldest day of the year, I would plunge into the pool, and they always took it upon me to do it, and their timing was impeccable," he said laughing. His sons and wife would jump in after him.At the house, his fondest memory was of a train set his parents built for his boys. He described the wooden track built at knee height, right in front of the vast fireplace to ensure the kids were warm while playing happily for hours, "we spoiled them with trains."Over the past six months, volunteers and family members sifted through soot, unearthing treasures."Man it absolutely has been meaningful," Campbell said poignantly, "in fact there has been a picture of my wife, our wedding 23 years ago, that somehow, someway came out of the rubble."He was also struck by the signs of hope sprouting around the grounds, "you can see now it is greening up, in the mountainsides, they are growing back, and it's just incredible that the environment, they just reinvigorate themselves." He said the boys are young teens now and learning, while cleaning up the ranch, how nature prevails.Campbell's fight to protect the property is not over. "The erosion is our main concern," he said. With help from local leaders, sand bags held the weak soil mostly in place after recent rain.Campbell said he's incredibly thankful for the continued support of the community, and hopes in the next two years to rebuild and move his parents back onto the ranch. 2256

After several days of public memorials in Alabama and Washington, D.C., a funeral service for Rep. John Lewis took place in the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. The same church that was formerly led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Former President Barack Obama delivered the eulogy for Lewis during Thursday's service, speaking passionately about Lewis' so-called good trouble and both his protests and politics for change. He called Lewis “a man of pure joy and unbreakable perseverance.""George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators," he said, referring to the segregationist Alabama governor who ran for president on a hard-right platform in 1968 and recent images from Portland, adding that there are still battles to be fought for voting rights and equality.Obama talked about ways to continue Lewis' legacy; restoring the Voting Rights Act, allowing former inmates to vote, adding polling locations, making Election Day a federal holiday and allowing Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico to have full representation in Congress.Former Presidents George W. In Alabama, Lewis' casket was carried by horse-drawn carriage across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama — the place where he was beaten by police nearly 50 years ago while marching for voting rights. That march inspired the passage of the Voting Rights Act just a few months later.On Monday, Lewis' body was flown to Washington, where his body laid in state at the Capitol Building — an honor only afforded to the most highly respected lawmakers.Following Thursday's service, Lewis will be buried at Atlanta's South View Cemetery — the same cemetery where King is buried. 2926
