My feeling is this isn't going away anytime soon and we need to find a way to live with it.”Each country is responding differently to American visitors.“There is a ban on Americans traveling to any of the countries in the Schengen area so that does leave Ireland and Britain open as far as European countries go,” Hannah Oreskovich, a travel influencer and marketing consultant, said.Since COVID-19 started spreading, she hasn’t traveled outside the U.S.“There’s definitely some countries who are taking advantage of those opportunities right now who probably need the tourism,” Oreskovich explained.The airline Emirates is a prime example, recently announcing passengers will receive free COVID-19 insurance. This could include medical expenses and quarantine costs. But countries change their rules about who is allowed in, and who must quarantine upon arrival, depending on case numbers.“Their numbers look good so they loosen things. Their numbers start to go up, they tighten it down,” Bryant said.“Lots of what I’m seeing, you have to test before you go and test when you get there and you're still quarantining maybe,” Sherry Ott, a travel blogger, said. ”They have to have a way to be able to check people in quarantine.” Ott is talking about Ireland, a country allowing Americans in with restrictions. One of those restrictions includes being in self-quarantine for two weeks upon arrival.“They haven't been checking it very much, so it hasn't been really as effective as they would've liked it to be,” said Ott, who has been a travel blogger since 2006. “There is a wide range," said Bryant of international restrictions. "Bahamas recently was going to start letting people in, and then they said, 'We will let you in, but you have to stay in a government-run facility at your own expense. Different countries are doing different things, but it changes all the time.”So, how do you plan a trip if rules change daily?“Get travel insurance that lets you cancel for any reason. Any reason,” Bryant suggested. “This is not the time to shop deals.”Ott said international travel will look different moving forward. “It’s going to be a lot less, a lot more self-guided tours. (KGTV) – A two-vehicle collision on an Oceanside street sent 10 people to the hospital late Sunday night.Oceanside police said the crash occurred at around 11:45 p.m. on state Route 76 at Douglas Drive.According to police, a silver sedan ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck with a family inside. The impact caused the truck to flip onto its side.A man, a pregnant woman and two children were trapped in the truck, while six people in the sedan were also trapped.It took emergency crews about 30 minutes to free the trapped people from both vehicles.The 10 people were taken to local hospitals with unspecified injuries. Fire personnel said at least six of the victims had “critical” injuries.The crash is under investigation, and police are trying to determine if the driver of the silver sedan was under the influence at the time of the collision. 887

Ohio's Attorney General and the U.S. Marshals Service announced the results of Operation Autumn Hope on Monday — a month-long, multi-agency crackdown focused on sexually-based crimes in the state.According to press releases from the U.S. Marshals and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, the operation netted hundreds of arrests for various sex crimes and the "physical recovery" of dozens of missing children throughout the month of October.In its press release, U.S. Marshals Service said Monday that "Operation Autumn Hope" took place "during the month of October," and Yost said in a press release that the operation involved "more than 50 law enforcement agencies" at the local, state and federal level.Throughout the month, Yost said that during the operation, 109 human trafficking victims were referred to social services. It's unclear how many people, if any, were arrested and charged with crimes relating to sex trafficking.Both Yost and the U.S. Marshals also said that 45 "missing or exploited children" were "physically recovered." Of those cases, at least one — that of a missing 15-year-old girl — was confirmed to have been linked to a human trafficking case. It's unclear if any of the other missing children cases involved human trafficking.Yost also said that throughout the month-long operation, 22 people were "apprehended" for seeking to have sex with a minor. It's unclear how many of those will face charges, but among those who are facing charges include "a pastor, students, and a rehabilitation resident advisor."Finally, Yost said that 157 men across the state were arrested "on charges of soliciting and other crimes."Students from Case Western Reserve University's Human Trafficking Law Project were partners in the operation.
