LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Authorities in Georgia are searching for a man who broke into a Taco Bell, made himself a meal and took a nap before making off with electronics.The Gwinnett County Police Department say the burglary happened at the Lawrenceville location on Sugarloaf Parkway early Christmas morning. Surveillance video released by police on Wednesday shows the man approaching the restaurant at about 12:15 a.m. before entering through the drive-thru window. Once inside, he’s seen using the fryers to make himself a meal and then eating it. Once the man finished eating, he proceeded to take a nap on the floor of the restaurant. Three hours later, police say the suspect woke up, stole a laptop and a tablet, and left the scene.The suspect is described as a black male, who was wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black sneakers at the time of the break-in. JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri — As soon as the sirens sounded, Ed Stroesser and his family took shelter in their basement. Together they listened to the radio, waiting for the storm to pass. Across the city, Gerry Mack and his coworkers huddled, waiting anxiously. "We kind of tracked the path of the tornado. You [could] hear the buzzing and the tornado over us. It was a very eerie feeling," Mack said. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-3 tornado, with winds up to 160 miles per hour, touched down in Jefferson City, Missouri, on Wednesday. The twister ripped roofs off of homes, overturned semi-trucks, and took out walls of businesses and houses. Stroesser's business was one of the places impacted. The wind knocking down the east side of the building, leaving the inside of his office exposed. "Oh it's horrible. We've been a business here for 40 years," he said. Before touching ground in Missouri's capitol, the tornado hit smaller towns, including Eldon, Missouri. Brenda Hooker sought shelter in her bathroom as the tornado bounced off of her home. Judith Krantz, whose best-selling romance novels told racy tales of the rich, died of natural causes Saturday, her publicist said. She was 91.Krantz is known for her novels "Mistral's Daughter" (1983), "I'll Take Manhattan" (1986), "Scruples" (1978) and "Princess Daisy" (1980). She's sold more than 80 million copies of her novels, and they've been translated into over 50 languages, her publicist said. She wrote her first book at age 50, launching her into the romance novelist stratosphere.Krantz, originally from New York, became wealthy from the sale of her books. In a letter to readers in her 2001 autobiography, "Sex and Shopping: The Confessions of a Nice Jewish Girl," she said she had a different life from the majority of women of her generation and background."While I seemed like another 'nice Jewish girl,' underneath that convenient cover I'd traveled my own, inner-directed path and had many a spicy and secret adventure," she wrote.
