SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police identified the man suspected of a sexual assault in a Mission Beach alley as 40-year old Philemon Shark from Seattle. According to San Diego police, a 24-year old woman was walking by herself on Bayside Lane around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday when Shark attacked her. The woman screamed for help, and several residents ran out and stopped Shark before he ran away.Officers caught up to him in a breezeway and took him into custody. Shark was booked on felony sexual assault charges and outstanding warrants from Washington state, according to police.Police said Shark had been in San Diego for a few months before the assault. 653
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police said Tuesday they have arrested a student for threatening to "shoot up" Westview High School.The threat was reported by school staff Tuesday, wherein a student reportedly told other students not to come to school Wednesday "because the student was going to shoot up the school," according to a press release from school officials.Officials said several students reported the threats to Westview High officials. According to police, the stabbing happened on the 9500 block of High Park Lane just before 2 p.m.Police arrived as they say the suspect, Howard Forrest Lowe, 52, was riding away on a bike. Lowe was arrested and will be booked into jail on suspicion of murder, police say.After entering the home’s garage, police found 72-year-old Richard Dale Munsinger. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.Police said in a release Thursday evening that Lowe and Munsinger were neighbors.
