Algra says he underwent an infectious disease consultation and will require HIV and Hepatitis C tests every six months.“Right now I’m trying to channel and redirect the anger that I feel about what happened to him, that I wasn’t able to keep him safe," said Algra.She's created a petition to designate San Diego’s playgrounds for children only; adults are only allowed if they’re accompanied by a child.Similar ordinances already exist in New York and Florida, people who violate them can face fines. "I think that most people can use common sense and understand that an adult is not meant to be living under a slide, or sitting on a swing doing drugs or otherwise, that's not what these playgrounds are designed for," said Algra. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police Monday arrested a suspect they say beat a 72-year-old man with a crowbar during a carjacking. Police say Daniel Dubois, 33, was arrested for the incident. According to police, the incident happened on the 5000 block of Kesling Street in Clairemont Mesa East around 9:47 a.m. Monday. Police say the 72-year-old drove up to his home only to find a man trying to break into his garage with a crowbar.
