SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego City Councilmember Jennifer Campbell on Tuesday is expected to formally announce enforcement plans to help with concerns over crowd control in Ocean Beach.Campbell, who represents District 2, said in a news release, “Our office continues to field calls regarding increased crowds gathering at Veteran’s Plaza in Ocean Beach on Wednesday evenings. While I appreciate the San Diego Police Department’s increased presence last week, it’s clear more comprehensive action needs to be taken to keep San Diegans safe.”Residents in the area say large gatherings have been consistently happening despite San Diego County public health orders restricting mass gatherings.According to OB residents, big crowds assemble Wednesday nights at Veteran’s Plaza, and many attendees are seen not wearing masks or practicing social distancing.Ocean Beach Town Council President Mark Winkie told ABC 10News in a previous interview that residents “want people to understand this is our community. You’re welcome to be here, but you need to adhere to social distancing rules and respect our community.”Winkie has met with City of San Diego officials about the gatherings in OB. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police have located a woman who disappeared from a Hillcrest bar in October. Lindsey Snider separated from her friends at Urban Mo's on October 28 just after midnight, police said. Officers found her cell phone on November 6.Police said Tuesday in a report that Snider is from Michigan and is not familiar with the San Diego area.Police said Snider has a history of disappearing when she uses heavy amounts of alcohol. 460

According to police, 77-year-old David McArthur left his home on the 7900 block of Wing Span Drive around 10 a.m. to work on his boat at The Southwestern Yacht Club. He was last seen walking toward his vehicle in the parking lot of the yacht club, according to a family friend. McArthur was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s six years ago. McArthur is described as a white man, 77-years-old who is bald with grey hair on the sides and a thin build. Police say he also wears a yellow metal wedding ring and black band digital watch on his left wrist. McArthur is from New Zealand and speaks with a slight accent.
