Adult film actress Stormy Daniels is offering to return the 0,000 payment she received from President Donald Trump's attorney in exchange for dissolving a so-called "Hush Agreement."Last month, Michael Cohen said he paid 0,000 of his own money to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, ahead of the 2016 election in exchange for her silence regarding an alleged sexual encounter with Trump. Both Cohen and the White House have denied any sexual encounter between the President and Clifford.Clifford's attorney, Michael Avenatti, sent Cohen a letter offering to wire 0,000 by Friday to an account designated by the President. In exchange, the settlement agreement between Clifford, Trump and Cohen's company would be "deemed null and void in their entirety."  789

Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals has been considered one of the best players in hockey for the last decade. But despite his incredible skill, he has had little to show for his success in the playoffs. That is until this season. Ovechkin scored the go-ahead goal in Wednesday's pivotal Game 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The goal ended up being the only one Washington needed in its 4-0 shutout over the Lightning to win the best-of-seven series 4-3. The victory earns Ovechkin his first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final. It also only the second time the Capitals have reached the Final. "I can’t explain my emotions. I am just happy for my boys. I can’t wait to come back home and play for a Stanley Cup," Ovechkin said. It was a tough road for Washington to just its second conference title. Washington had to come from behind in all three series during the playoffs. The road to the Stanley Cup Final was a bit easier for Vegas. The Golden Knights clinched their spot in the Stanley Cup Final last Sunday, defeating Winnipeg for the Western Conference title. Vegas beat all odds reaching the Final, as it was the first expansion club to even reach the playoffs in the expansion era. Vegas used a hodgepodge of leftover pieces from the rest of the NHL to build a roster good enough to overpower the rest of the conference. The Golden Knights turned role players like ex-Columbus Blue Jackets forward William Karlsson and former Florida Panthers winger Jonathan Marchessault into bona fide stars this season. 1619

According to new research by the American Heart Association, if you eat chili peppers, you might live longer.Researchers analyzed the health and dietary records of more than 570,000 people in the U.S., Italy, China, and Iran. They found that individuals who eat chili peppers are 26% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease than those who rarely or never eat chili peppers.Another perk researchers found was that they are also 23% less likely to die from cancer and 25% less likely to die from any cause.“We were surprised to find that in these previously published studies, researchers associated regular consumption of chili pepper with an overall risk-reduction of all-cause, CVD, and cancer mortality. It highlights that dietary factors may play an important role in overall health,” said senior author Bo Xu, M.D., in the news release.Chili peppers are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, and blood-glucose regulating effect due to capsaicin, which gives chili pepper its characteristic mild to intense spice when eaten, previous research found.Researchers noted that the amount and type of chili pepper consumed changed among the studies, so they don’t know how much, how often, or which type may be associated with health benefits.More research, researchers stated, especially evidence from randomized controlled studies, on this topic, is needed. 1377
