HILLSBORO, Ohio — A dramatic security recording from inside the Highland County Common Pleas Court shows an inmate fleeing his own sentencing hearing on foot, evading deputies in the process, on Tuesday morning.According to court records, 34-year-old Nickolaus Kyle Garrison had in August pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated possession of methamphetamine. He appeared in court Tuesday to receive a sentence of six months from Judge Rocky Coss.The Highland County Press reported Garrison ran when deputies attempted to take him back into custody after his sentencing.The video released by the county shows Garrison running from the courtroom and out into a hallway, pursued by deputies and a court bailiff. As he runs downstairs, the bailiff attempts to jump over the banister and grab him; the bailiff falls, sliding down the stairs on his back, and Garrison escapes.By the end of the week, Garrison was back in custody. He was captured at a motel in Clinton County around 4:30 a.m. Friday by officers and deputies from multiple law enforcement agencies. Garrison will now face additional charges. FULLERTON, Calif. (KGTV) -- Sunday, the coroner’s office identified a 6-year-old girl who was mowed down by a suspected drunken driver in Fullerton.Grace Aguilar was killed around 2:15 p.m. Saturday after a driver, Maximino Delgado, 52, drove onto a sidewalk on the 1400 block of Lombard Street.Authorities say Delgado was attempting to make a turn when he lost control of the vehicle and struck Aguilar.RELATED: Pedestrian killed after being hit by train near Sorrento Valley coaster stationDelgado continued to drive on the sidewalk before reentering the road and striking a parked car.Police performed a breath test on Delgado and reportedly discovered his blood alcohol level was .23 percent, far above the level of drunken driving at .08 percent.Aguilar was taken to the hospital where she later died.RELATED: Tow truck crashes into pedestrian and bicyclist in Mira MesaDelgado was arrested and booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and vehicular manslaughter. HONG KONG — Hong Kong Disneyland Park is closing temporarily following the city’s decision to ban public gatherings of more than four people because of the coronavirus pandemic. Disney officials posted on the resort’s website that the Hong Kong park was closing Wednesday until further notice. The resort’s hotels will remain open with adjusted levels of service. Hong Kong’s leader, Carrie Lam, announced new coronavirus-related restrictions Monday and she urged the private sector to put in place work-from-home arrangements for employees.
