High School teen Jayson Goetz was the talk of his high school's prom after he showed up in green and gold Green Bay Packers suit covered with Packers logos and topped off with bright yellow pants and a Packers bow tie. Goetz, a Mosinee High School junior, said he and his friends didn't want to put on the typical, stuffy black tuxedo and blend into the background of prom. They would have loved it.”Goetz's mom was skeptical about the outfit at first, but once she heard the reason he wanted to wear it, she happily approved. “I had no idea what he was doing when he first told me about it,” she told the Wausau Daily Herald. “I probably tried to talk him out of it at first. NATIONAL CITY, Calif (KGTV) -- The National City Elementary Teachers Association reached a contract settlement with the National School District Tuesday.Under the settlement, teachers will receive a 2 percent on-schedule increase, retroactive to January 2018.The settlement also makes changes to health and welfare benefits. The district increased its maximum contribution by 0 to go toward medical, dental, vision care and life insurance premiums, bringing the total to ,000 for full time employees.RELATED: National City elementary school teachers vote to approve strike  “We had faith in our productive relationship with the National City Elementary Teachers Association and are pleased to come to this agreement together,” said Superintendent Leighangela Brady. “By using 2018-2019 Local Control and Accountability Plan funding, we are providing a 2 percent on-schedule raise to attract and retain teachers for our exceptional District.”The tentative agreement will now go to members of the association for approval. MUNCIE, Ind. -- Muncie area hospitals are on the lookout for a woman accused of pretending to be pregnant to gain access to labor and delivery floors.Ball Memorial Hospital reported they are working with police and have alerted all personnel to be on the lookout for the woman.It is unclear at this time if there is any surveillance video of the woman and the hospital would not say whether they have identified her.Ball Memorial Hospital released the following statement Thursday:“While no related criminal activity has taken place or charges have been filed, hospital police, leadership and team members remain vigilant. The safety and the very best care of patients and guests are always the highest priority.”Community Health North Hospital, which delivers the most babies in Indiana, said it’s critical to run regular drills to make sure no one has access to newborns that shouldn’t.“As soon as a baby is delivered we put identification on a baby which does include a security tag,” said Jamie Phillippe, Director of NICU/PICU/Pediatrics at Community Health North. “Here down in delivery they could have anywhere from 70 to 80 moms and babies.”Phillippe said the maternity and newborn ICU units are locked down at all times and no one that isn’t supposed to be down there gets in but when situations like this arise they make sure to share the information with all staff members so everyone is aware and they pay constant attention to video feeds around the building.  1501

MYAKKA CITY, Fla. — Twenty-four hours after Mother's Day, a picture Crystal Ingramm took is still hard to digest."I was sad more than anything else," Ingramm said.The mom was driving with her family to a celebratory breakfast. Suddenly, her husband pulled over when he spotted something strange near the forest preserve off Wachula and Taylor roads in Myakka City, Florida."He said, 'I think I saw an alligator on the side of the road,'" Ingramm said. "We thought it was caught in a barbed wire fence. When we got close we realized there were two of them and they were already dead, and their tails had been cut off."Growing up in the small Myakka City community and used to seeing alligators, Ingramm said she immediately knew this was no accident."This was done for only one possible purpose, and they were discarded here," Ingramm said.That's why she said she took the picture and posted it to a community page to let others know about the possible crime. The photo was shared, prompting people like Julie Morris to drive by the preserve."We need to find out who's doing it and make sure that this does not continue to happen," Morris said.That's also why Ingramm said she shared the photo with FWC, the state agency that oversees wildlife concerns."I know alligators are hunted, but there is a lawful and responsible way to do that. You don't obviously just cut their tails and leave all their body parts. This was not an act of hunting, this was something else," Ingramm said.FWC allows alligator hunting in a very limited capacity.The season doesn't start until August. There are also specific rules on how to trap alligators, and cruelty is not an option.It's why officers are taking this seriously. A spokesperson said it's too early to speculate, but if there is a sinister motive, there are repercussions. Ingramm said she just hopes she can get the image out of her mind."To see them mutilated like that is shocking," she said. 2051
