BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Two spokespersons have been named for China's Information Office of the State Council, or Cabinet, and the International Communication Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.The two spokespersons are Guo Weimin, director of the press bureau under the two offices, and Li Wufeng, director of the offices' Internet affairs bureau, according to a press release on the office's official website.In December last year, Wang Chen, director of the State Council Information Office, said the establishment of a spokesperson system for the CPC committees would be a major task for 2010.The system would be promoted in departments of the CPC Central Committee and provincial-level committees to enable them to release information on Party-related affairs by holding press conferences and providing interview opportunities, he said.

"That is in the fundamental interests of both Chinese and Turkish peoples and benefits the world prosperity and stability."China is ready to continue to consolidate political mutual trust and strengthen cooperation with Turkey, said Li.He also noted the CPC is willing to explore new ways to boost ties with Erdogan's Justice and Development Party.Erdogan said he hopes Turkey and China can enhance high-level strategic consultations, expand their trade volume and further cooperate in major projects in such fields as energy and infrastructure.The two countries have a sound foundation for economic and cultural cooperation and share broad common interests within the frames of the United Nations and the G20, the group of the world's 20 industrialized and fastest-growing economies, said Erdogan.Li also visited the Ankara office of ZTE, China's telecommunications giant on Friday, urging the company to step up technology research and development and explore ways to achieve sustainable growth.Li arrived in Turkey on Wednesday and flew to Ankara on Thursday night. TOKYO, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao called on Japanese entrepreneurs Monday to make further contributions to the cooperation between the two countries.Addressing a welcome luncheon given in his honor by the Japanese Business Federation, the Chinese premier briefed the participants on what the Chinese government has achieved in tackling the global financial turmoil, as well as China's current economic situation and its major tasks.Wen said great progress has been made in bilateral economic and trade relations since the normalization of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 1972.
