Many of us like to enjoy an ice-cold soda, but have you wondered what might be lurking on the soda dispensers, from the older ones to the new machines with one central nozzle?Scripps reporters took swabs from five types of locations: a movie theater, a fast food restaurant, a fast casual restaurant, a gas station and a hospital cafeteria to see just how clean or dirty some soda fountains are.The swabs were sent to a food safety lab.Dr. Helene Ver Ecke, a microbiologist at Metropolitan State University of Denver, studied the results. "So it is concerning that that particular species was found to be prevalent," said Ver Ecke as she looked over the results. Markus Paul, who was the Dallas Cowboys' strength and conditioning coordinator, has died, the team announced Wednesday. He was 54.The team did not announce Paul's cause of death."The loss of a family member is a tragedy, and Markus Paul was a loved and valued member of our family," Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones said in a press release. "He was a pleasant and calming influence in our strength room and throughout The Star. His passion for his work and his enthusiasm for life earns him great respect and admiration from all of our players and the entire organization. Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, will become the acting White House chief of staff replacing John Kelly, President Donald Trump announced on Friday."I look forward to working with him in this new capacity as we continue to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
